7.62x54 SNB can be used in pistol too. The pistol name is M300. It doesnt use magazine, it can store 5 bullets at a time. If you reload this gun, every bullet in the chamber will fall to the ground.

I'll start with what i recommend you to not invest much in them, if u got them from somewhere for free, ofc use them. But generally i wouldn't advise you to purchase them from the marketplace.

For an overview of Tier 5 Armored Rigs, these are the ones that i recommend you to not purchase them with ur own koen from the marketplace.
If you got them from somewhere, pristine and has operational supply marker, go ahead and use them, if not then don't.

1. The Warrior Rig
   55 Durability
   Has 16 slots, with 8 of them are 2 2x2 slots.
   It rig has the lowest durability out of every t5 armored rig.
   The only thing that's going for it is that it has medium structure strength and those 2x2 slots so u can use some unconventional magazines such as RPK's 95rnd mag, T951/T03/Lr-Ar1-2's 75rnd mag or USAS's 20rnd mag or store TMK or STO Medkits.
   Pricey for a t5 rig, 70k-ish on average, breaks easily and can't withstand that much shots.

2. HTac-A8 & A9
   A8: Has 8 slots, all of them are 1x2s and 2 1x1s so u can't use anything large here, has 60 durability, has the weakest structure strength out of all t5 rigs but can be farmed from elite bots/boss guards in Forbidden TV Station or from Bernard in Lockdown TV Station so the pricey isnt too bad, 60k for a new one on average.
   A9: Has 20 slots, has 1x1, 1x2 and 2x2 spaces so u can be quite resourceful with what you can carry on your rig, but still can't support 1x3 long magazines such as 7,62x39mm 40rnd mags or S12K 10rnd mag or 5,56x45mm 40rnd mags (why are you using these magazines to begin with?).
   Can be farmed from elite bots in Forbidden TV Station specidically Rolf's guards, has 65 durability which i think isn't enough for an armored rig that big that protects your upper and lower abdomen. Usually has the same price as HTacA8 so it's quite affordable.

It depends, some people says it is worth it because it is a 2-in-1 package for having good armor protection, durability and spaces for you to bring your items if you're using something like T5 M3/4 Defender rigs or T6 AL series armored rigs.
But they are also quite problem matic when they're severely damaged during a match, you'd need to find an armor and an unarmored rig to replace ur badly damaged rig or find another armored rig which is highly unlikely to find one naturally unless you found it from a dead player. Also some armored rigs tends to have lower durability and protection/tanking capability due to their structure strength and where do they protect.
If you know which armored rig is worth to invest in then they are quite useful, if you don't know which armored rigs are considered unworthy to invest in then they're a waste of koen, unreliable, easy to be damaged and hard to replace during a match.

The reason why those rigs are used less would be because of the tetris capability and what it offers:

1. AL Assault can store 18 items, including 1 space for a 2x2 while only costing 9 slots in the bag, which makes this rig very tetris friendly. It is also the go to choice for hyper aggressive players who needs an t6 armored rig.
2. For AL Tactical, it's more suitable for longer range maps like Valley or Northridge since most of the items it can hold are 1x2s and 1x3s. Also provides a slightly better protection than the AL Assault since it can protect the abdomen a bit but it less tetris friendly, taking up to 12 spaces so.
3. Lastly, the AL Commander Armored Rig. Honestly this rig is multi purpose since it has the highest durability out of all 3 of the AL series at 100, has the most storage at 20 and can store 1x2,1x3 and 2x2. But this absolute unit of a rig takes 16 spaces in your bag which is very hefty while still provides the same protection as the AL Tactical.
   Imo, the popularity and versatility ranking of them would be:
4. AL Assault (best assault/front liner rig with the best tetris capability)
5. AL Commander (worst tetris capability but very multi purpose and general usage of multiple items)
6. AL Tactical as portrayed by the cost of each rig. (Suitable for mid-long range distance maps, not as versatile as the other two [and Bernard is quite a common sight in TvFz so u can get his rig very often while Rolf and Kurt are quite more uncommon and poses more of a threat to deal with])

I wouldn't recommend you waste M995s on M96... But if you are like me and want to get Maximum fun, yes, it is pretty decent. Here is the proof of it in my past games. Since M96 has high fire power it should pierce most T5 and below, although it is 5.56 so don't trust it too much. As a bonus though, since the m96 recoil is pretty high, even if you aim at the abdomen or in the chest, there's a high chance of you hitting the head by sheer luck.

Keep in mind though there are a lot more weapons that are much better to use m995s with, like AUG, M4 or H4s.

ABMH: Northridge was my go to after port lockdown got removed. It is a mainly long range combat map, where you can avoid unnecessary combat and loot. Northridge hotel has most of the safes in the map, but majority are behind locked doors. If you can snipe, that map is a godly money maker with SVDS and 7N37 ammo. Hope that helps!

Go to covert and focus on looting, try to avoid fights and such. Normally i would recommend an easy to make koen map like port, but since it got removed I'm gonna need to think about the alternatives. Like Northridge or Mine, a low risk map that is big enough for you to be able to loot in peace. Go with low gear, cheap enough that you can replace it easily but also good enough for you to at least defend yourself when you get attacked. Just focus on looting.

Your choice, but if you are going solo i recommend you just play lockdown, any map. The players there are less skilled than the fz players. But if you keep losing, it's better to just go normal instead. Of course with lower and easier to replace gear.

As far as i know there is no skill based matchmaking, it simply find a match for you no matter the opponent rank or gv, so you could be matched against full T6 legend teams or just T4 Vanguard solo. You may never know until you meet them.

Well the thing is, the game is already at 9 seasons long now. Most players are highly skilled, so most of the time you will meet them, it works fine back when it was still at s1 or 2, since majority of players back then were all new with the very experienced players consisting around 10% of the total players back then. But now it is reversed. In s8 you can work around this by just playing less popular maps for those experienced players, but since port got removed, well you ran out of options to avoid them.

Additional leg protection armor are the waste of money because:

1. Only Sa101 and BN30 armor can use it and they are 30k per piece.
2. It makes ur armor size much larger ,so if the armor is broken, you have to ditch it
3. It reduces your mobility and ergonomics by a lot on top of the already hefty penalty from wearing those said armor. The total movement speed and ergonomic penalty for BN30 with leg armor is -14% movement speed and -10 ergonomics, for Sa101 with leg armor is -15% movement speed and -10 ergonomics
4. It only protects your thighs and leg meta shooters tend to aim for ur legs/toes more than your thighs.

So, i just got back into playing this game after a view months away. But I'm noticing that in raid I can't see the "Skins" of both Player Operators and Militant bots. The Operators only wear the default brown fatigues and NPCs are wearing the blue shirt and brown pants outfit despite this being in faction war. Weirdly enough, in the kill screen (the part where it shows where your enemy hits you) I can see the outfits they are wearing as normal, with southern army npcs actually wearing their army uniforms instead of the blue shirt.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

It depends but having a weapom with good effective range in Valley is an advantage due to how vast and large the map is. Guns like bolt-action snipers, designated marksman (minus the VSS) has a good advantage in this map. But some ARs with long effective range can be useful aswell such as AUG, H4 (with extended barrel), LR-AR1/2, Ace31 with extended barrel, AEK, AUG and the RPK-16 LMG.
If you know where to snipe and position yourself in Valley then a sniper and/or DMR can be deadier than a full auto because all you need is 1 precise shot to kill them (unless it's a full auto Mk14).

ABMH: It depends on your skill. Some are good at using AR while other are good at sniping.

But there are pros/cons at using both weapon type. AR are more flexible at all range but its not great at killing with precision for long range. Sniper at the othe hand give you the most advantage at long range. Capable at killing enemy with 1 shot ( depends on the gun, ammo at body part ).

Some part of the map also make difference whether sniping or using ar is viable. For example, norteno court area have so many sniping spot ( climbable rocks, norteno roof and wall etc ). villa at the other hand is more a cqc place, so using AR is more viable.

ABMH: This calls for awareness. You look around constantly to see bots from afar. They have a set target detection range and shooting range. You can also slow walk around them and avoid confrontations. I rarely get shot from bots when im aware because i shoot them before they even look at me, allowing me to stay silent most of the game.

Honest answer, no.
If you want to practise PvP then, yes it is worth it to play Secure Ops since u only love ur consumables,throwables and ammo. Everything else are insured so u won't lose them if you die in a secure ops match.
But if you planned to play Secure Ops for making koen then it is not effective at all.
With the heavy tax for whatever you earn in the match and people still run high gear + ammo in Secure Ops, it's not worth your time and mental health to play Secure Ops.
Regular Tac Ops or even Covert Ops can give you better chances at making a profit.

ABMH: If you bored of playing normal or covert ops. Or want to try some good builds with cheap ammo without worrying about gear fear then secure ops is for you. You could go naked with Mk14 in there and won't lose much after you died other than your ammo and meds.

No, you cant snipe with VSS. it have low bullet speed and short effective range. Even thought its in DMR category. You use it like a SMG beacuse of its properties.

ABMH: Wrong. Just use this gun like smg or short range assult rifle. VSS effective range is low and the bullet velocity is also low which is poor for sniping. The VSS is best used for close quarter combat or mid range if you have no other choice but not sniping.

For that engagement in Armory, if you know someone was pre-camping at the 1m door, the best thing to do is to lure them out into the open while you're peeking at a more advantageous angle to safely shoot at them. If you know you're being outnumbered, having molotovs and gas grenades are a lifesaver as they can hinder they push against you, giving you time to disengage and relocate or just run away entirely if they outgear you.
