ABMH there are lots of good map!! It all depends on which playstyle you use. For rusher and extreme players i'd say Tv Station or Armory for the high risk high reward situation! For passive players go to Farm and Northridge! Maybe even duo gold drop, as for snipers go to Valley and Mine! If you're bored and you need some quick fun, do the new city siege port faction war. ABMH : to get the forbidden quick kit you need to play the Duo 2 gold so you need around 80K gear value, you can get this Forbidden quick kit 3 times a day, each match give you one quick kit and if you survive you can use it repeatedly so actually you can keep playing the duo gold with only 35K entry cost.

SVDS+T4 armor is the best suggestions from me because it will give an exact 80K entry value

I suggest you to change the scope, that scope is one of the worst scope to put on a weapon. If you're playing close combat you can just change the scope into more like Triangle reflex sight scope or SRDS (Simple Red Dot Sight). Because of the economy is falling slowly it's cheaper now than before

ABMH there are lots of ways to overpower a t7 thermal user. For example: Not all thermal users wear t5-6 helmet so it's best to aim for their head (check what helmet they have on first and hide. Wait until they peek or rush), but if they are wearing t5+ helmet with you only having t4 ammo, its best to shoot at their legs or thorax (7-8 consecutive shots to the thorax would create impact damage that pass through their t5-6 body armor, they'll still die! Only works with big calibers like 7.62 x 51 i think), or use leg meta! Gas grenades also Blocks their thermal vision. But not their normal vision, as you know Thermals disables faceshield. Maybe you can aim for their face to 1 tap if you're confident! Correct me if Im wrong but i hope this helps!

Depends on your situation. Sometimes its better to become the rat sometimes its better to hunt the rats.

For example, lets say you are facing against T6's in TV Station. And your gear is T4 or below, in this scenario you are better to rat them than face them directly. You can either use hit and run tactics or ambush them to get an advantage.

The other example is lets say you want to extract from TV Station through loading area. Now you wouldn't want to get ratted while extracting. So you started clearing the area, and hunting the rat before pulling the switch. And after you catch the rat or didn't find any, you can freely pull the extraction requirement and leave the raid.

ABMH : this gun is the best 7.62×39 considering it have 2nd fastest fire rate in the 7.62×39 and also Pretty high firing power which mean it deal better penetration chance than the AKM/AEK (both of them are medium firing power)

It also can be modified to 100 Vertical recoil so you don't get any problem when aiming, only left or right recoil exist for this gun if you modified it with the best stock and the compact foregrip.

Sadly this gun only have 40 round at max and also the effective range is low similar to SMG. But this gun is really good for the TV station because of the small sized map.

Use the forbidden quick kit and choose the AEK gear set to get a stack of BP ammo and you put it in the safe case so you still get 60 of BP ammo when you died with the Forbidden quick kit

ABMH heavier armors does reduce your weight and scope speed (also known as Ergonomic) by alot. The heaviest armors are the 6b45 or the bt201, the heaviest armored rig is the Spartan C heavy armor. All heavy armors are good especially if you're more interested in the rushing and tanking (Juggernaut) playstyle. They're suited for cqc and inside buildings combat. Armory and Farm I would say, since TVs are full of rats and flesh rounds user and can easily defeat you

ABMH there are two ways to use grenades effectively! You can cook them by pressing the unpin button (grenades explode after 5 seconds of being unpinned) or you can throw them directly and wait for them to explode by themselves in the ground! Grenades and tactical items have different max cooking time so be careful! You can throw grenades and tactical items by using them in your chest rig or pocket slots and click the little grenade icon near the guns section. Then you can throw them, unpin them or cook them with the different buttons that will appear once you pressed and equip the grenade to your hand!

A Tier IV armor vs an enemy with a Tier V or Tier VI protection

It highly depends on what gun you use. If you use something like an RPK, an AUG or even an AN-94.. You can try shooting their armor.

But if it's something worse like an Short Barrel M4, or any low FP guns.. you're gonna shoot their legs.

Secondly, it also depends of what Tier IV bullet are you using. If it's something like a 9×39 7N9, you can just go off shooting their armor as this is the highest penetrating Tier IV bullet. But instead, if it's something like a 5.56×45 M855A1, you maybe better shoot their legs if you're not using an AUG.

ABMH it's best to try and get as much hit to their thorax or even head (because the t6 ind helmet or t5 O3 heavy helmet are only able to use the t4 face Shield and nothing stronger, going for a face shot is a good option. But if They're wearing ind70, its best to aim for their thorax without showing much of your body (peek/jiggle peek works! But reposition after you hit them a few Times and do the same thing). Or you can try going for the legs if your t4 Bullets have a decent amount of Initial damage!

Also yes! Belka's got a point. Its almost pointless if you're facing a good peeker vss user with 7n9 because they destroy t6s easily

ABMH: Yes it is. You won't lost anything even if you died except ammo and meds. However you only got 40% of your total gained loot value in koens form. So if you think you have better luck in normal or lockdown mode you don't have to play secure ops

ABMH secure ops is good mode for practice new guns or strategy before deploying it in real raids. you can consider it a practice mode since you will not lose any gear you bring in the raid. thing like gun, magazines, helmet, headset, chest armor, armored rig, backpack will not be lost if you die in the mode. also your original gear will be reimbursed to you if you successfully extract and decide to swap out all your gear with enemy gear for increased profits. anything like ammo, grenade, medicine or treatment item that you equip inside the rig or backpack and is not inside your case will be gone if you have died in the raid.

the equipment value limit for secure ops mode is 80k, every piece of gear your wearing into the raid will impact this value. i have some tip for balancing gear to fit the gear limit. some strategy include using most of the value making 60k-70k value gun and just rig or headset for most efficient firepower. some other strategy go heavy on armor using "worn" armor that is lower durability which making it less valued but still give good protection, sometime you will see player in secure ops with full t5 or t6 on, they use this method to bring it into the raid. or you can just use balanced gear set, just some t4 or t3 armor good durability and medium priced gun.

most player use t4 ammo in the secure ops mode so be aware when making the kit, they will be able to penetrate your armors easily if its not t5. any loose koen that you find in raid will keep its value but any other item will be converted to koen at 40% of its value. example any red item you find and extracted with in secure ops, it will be worth about 200k koen

You can use a thermal scope while using a smoke grenade to see through the smoke.

What's a good budget lockdown zone solo loadout

ABMH it all depends on your budget and what your role is (Flanker, Sniper, Assault, etc). Also depends on what tier of armor you want! But i can make you some: First off don't use t4 if you're in a pinch since most people in Lockdown uses t4 Bullets, its useless. Go with a t3 (7-10k), use the sh12 helmet Its a game changer!! (5k), pick any gun and modify it till around 20-30k max. Use t4 ammo, get a decent rig (b4 i recommend Instead of RAP simple since it has 6 2x1 slot Instead of 4 at a lower price), bring PK and medkits, Surg kits, bandages, grenades, and one spare mag. For your bag, use old or medium camping bag since sport backpack are so overpriced now, fill your case with atleast a stack of the bullets you're using. Make sure to bring one thermos and one chocolate chip in your bag if you're hungry and thirsty mid game! Also if you're going farm lockdown, bring 4-6k to your safecase. I guarantee you wouldn't regret it

ABMH IMO, the best automatic gun in duo gold loot is Mk14. Mk14 has fast rate of fire,it can load M61, it has long effective range and kinda low recoil. You can use h416 with extended barrel too which has faster rate of fire and almost 0 recoil

In farm, most green outfit scav and Jackson rusher scav uses t3 ammo for their Assault rifle like AKM or Aks-74u with PP / PS ammo, But for sniper Jackson they usually brought t4 LPS for their mosin at a limited amount!

Also bullet velocity also affects armor penetration just a tiny bit but marginal.

ABMH : In TV station the one who shot first usually wins and the one who spot the enemy first also will have the highest chance to win.

While playing TV station high penetration ammo and high Firing power is really important considering most play in TV use high tier armor so you need to hit a lot with high damage output.

Usually FAL is the best choice but the recoil is high to control, for the easier recoil you can use the MK14.

Also remember to bring some nades so you enemy will be panicked when you throw grenades at them.

ABMH: Always bring teammate with you (not randoms) that you trust and can put your thermal in his/her case when you died. For T7 tips I recommend to use it in the dark or hard to see spot so enemy can hardly spot you with naked eye. ABMH: In my opinion, if you can find a good choke hold position to aim at the target's leg then shotguns like DP-12, S12K (20 round magazine) and USAS-12 loaded with Type 8 Buckshots can be very deadly, but only if you got the surprise element on them. If not, you can easily be gunned down due to the typical shotgun's short effective range. You could try to compensate for that by using RIP Slug but that requires you to aim down sight/ads so that the slug that hit the unprotected part easier since hipfiring with slugs isn't recommended.

ABMH: Because buckshots spread, unless you are shooting slug which is a singular chunk of solid metal. If the enemy was wearing a face shield then it won't do anything plus the head is a very small and hard to hit target if the enemy is moving around while the 2 legs or the 2 arms are much bigger and are unarmored (most of the time) so they're an easier target to hit to do leg meta. If you are a sharpshooter then feel free to aim for the enemy's face/head and pray that they aren't wearing a facemask or not wearing a helmet to start with.

But in Northridge i remember the render distance for player is around 250 meter, but that's impossible considering there is lot of bushes and trees in Northridge.

So with Thermal 150 meter view range is really good already, because you can see through bushes a bit better than no thermal did.

Just a suggestion don't use thermal if you didn't have 10M or more koen because it will make you broke.

Initial kit and Premium kit

So the Initial kit is the basic kit with cheap maintenance cost even for the forbidden it only cost 70K to 90K depending on the gun

But for the Forbidden kit it cost 120K+ for the normal build, 220K+ for the lockdown build and 300K+ for the premium build

For suggestion just use the initial kit because it's cheaper and you need the red items not the player gear to get the Lucky draw tickets so don't force your special token on the Premium set because it's limited.

In my opinion, the farmland is the best map to run in. There are 2 safes you can loot which is located at the Warehouse and the Open storage of the North wheatfield, which is perfect for passive players who don't like to go into hotspots.

There are also good ambush spots around the map like the artificial lake, it can see the back end of the stables.

The reason why I prefer this map is because of the layout and coverage, most of the open areas has some cover to hide in when you are getting shot.

Having painkillers and anything to replendish your energy bar is very useful. If you don't have it then run with your knife or grenade out, and do not let the stamina bar reaches red. Repeat run,rest,run,rest while covering/hiding untik you are able to extract. If you want to push it to the extreme, drop some items so that you aren't overloaded so you can run and regenerate ur energy/stamina bar faster

Another choice can be the T951 as it performs well on it's base form, fetching around 16k on the market. You only need to slap on a scope you like and you'll be rocking the lobbies. The ammunition is also cheap as the T3 ammo costs 38 a bullet and the T4 ammo being 258 a bullet.

You can try faction weapons so you won't need to use your koens.

If you want to be passive or ratty, Smgs are a good option. Guns like Vector9/45, MP5, P90, MPX are good options to rat with. Be sure to load them with leg ammo!

If you are going for shotguns, I recommend using a Usas, but the DP12 can work too.

I suggest looting the Main guest room first as it has 2 safes, 2 weapon cases (1 large, 1 long), 1 jacket, and a table that can potentially spawn reds.
Be sure to look everywhere as you might have missed some reds!
