gunfights. When in a fight with a operator, it's best to utilize grenades and other utilities to your advantage

Any Engagement against the Locals [NPC/Bot] should be Quick and Fast. Or Quiet if you can as prolonged gunfights caused unnecessary attention and attention can lead to Your death. And

Avoid ALL unnecessary Engagement when you are outgunned or outnumbered. As You live and Survive to fight another day. So don't do unnecessary engagement when thing are not on your Favor. Because silent can be your best friend

ABMH: Sometimes, it is worth it , although most of the time, it isn't. In my opinion,tier 5 is this game's sweet spot because the average players will run tier 4 bullets and tier 5 is enough to deal with them. Tier 6 armors are too expensive and some ammo nullify said armor's protection capability as 7.62x54mm SNB or 7N37, 7.62x51mm M61, .338 AP, or 12.7x99mm M2 which a shot or two to the body or 1 to the head.

T6 is absolutely good if you ignore the price. It can have more Fault Tolerance to make your chance to died lower, and you can tank t5 or lower ammo, that means you would have less skills requirement if you wear t6

ABMH yes having a t6 will significantly increase your chance of survival especially t4 and below tier bullets if you ignore the price but just because your a t6 doesn’t mean you tank everything

You still need to be fast at reaction speed to evade/attack if your not you just wasting your t6 durability to protect as the raid goes on or just a more tanky free meat

ABMH t6 armor can have chance to deflect t6 penetration rounds like M2 from AX-50 or AP from AR-30. also its good protection if the enemy is close and does not have good enough ammo to penetrate your armor will be able to tank a lot of low tier bullets such as t4 or t3 without losing much health

ABMH: That'd be either you running juggernaut armor like 6B45 or BT201 for small maps such as TV Station or Armory (inside the bunker) to tank lower tier ammos from bots and enemies at the cost of movement speed and ergonomic penalty or something like BT101 and/or KN Comp for general purposes while not getting heavily punished by movement speed and ergonomic penalty for every other maps at the cost of fewer protected area. They can block tier 5 and below ammo so that you have that split second chance to counter attack or reposition elsewhere but when faced with equal tier or higher ammo, they can't really help you much.

But bigger and heavier t6 armor like let's say 6b45 Made with hardened steel is more likely to deflect or even tank it with a few hp left to your thorax. Hence why Mosin SNB are mostly deflected by t6

Lighter armor are meant for close quarter battles. Bt101 for rushing, bt201 to tank shots and nades, etc.

ABMH yes, armor damage matters alot to the armor itself. If you have 0 durability t6 armor shot by Dum Dum youre as good as using no armor. Armor durability Shredder ammos with high armor damage are great against tanky t6 for example 7n31 + mpx's fast fire rate is enough to drain a t6 (let's take Spartan C for example)'s durability to 0 in matter of seconds. If it reaches 0 you're as good as using no armor

ABMH: M110 is a gun mainly used for sniping so it's recommended to use a high magnification scope for sniping but it can still be usable for close range if you can tap quick enough to aim at their thorax. The 4x red dot hybrid is a viable scope for some medium range sniping since its magnification isn't too far and some people don't like it when you zoom it down to 2x. I'd recommend the 4x acog or the1/4x scope with iron sight if you want a better replacement such as 1/6x or 2/7x or bigger scopes.
If you really do want to CQC with M110... for whatever reasons, then at minimum, use M80 ammo.

But if you actual consistency then it's better for you to just use one ammo,like full HP or full FMJ or full A1s in 1 magazine.

the reason why i started doing ammo chains was to cut my ammo usage of one tier, i figured that if i started using lower tier ammo that has a likely chance to wound or high base damage, i could see if the person i am targeting that got knocked out has teammates that are still alive or not

theoretically, if A1 hits the body armor and penetrates it and a follow up hits of lower tier ammo to the limbs, it could lead to a faster knock out

Mostly strong horizontal recoil.

Vertical recoil works too if you tend to overcompensate with recoil control and "accidentally" go for the legs but in general you don't want to get used to that. So that'll be a thing for guns with bad H.Recoil control.

ABMH here's a few tips on getting profit on lockdown: Avoid unnecessary fights! If you see a t6 from a few miles away and you have t3-4 Bullets i suggest you dip and loot other places. If you have Dum Dum and you have faith in yourself, try going against the t6! But if it's a must fight situation if for instance you passed by an enemy and they started shooting at you don't run but Instead try and get a good cover and eliminate them at ease!

Generally too you'd want a t3-4 ammo, but most people would just run with sj16 upz then hide up and snake away. I do that too with ar30 but i play passively Instead of ratting in farm!

In general If you use T3 Body armor. you will die in 2 - 4 shots to the thorax anyway ( With T3 or + bullets ). But H-LC Lwt is a perfect choice for sniper because it has no ergo debuff and low movement speed debuff. ABMH it all depends on which map you chose to play in. But the map with the most rat spots are probably TVS and Armory, for TVS you can extract camp elevator (left side corner or right side but its a bit more risky since youre exposed to downstair boss etc) or the main extraction (i forgot what its called) and stay behind one of the pillar of walls, There's a small spot enough to rat. For Armory just hide behind one of the rooms (typically the b1 control room) because you can surprise or even catch a free weaponry room opening by eliminating a player thats trying to open it! (Hope this helps)

ABMH Ammo with the highest velocity is 5.56 x 45mm tier 5 m995 Bullets with a whopping 1013 Initial Bullet Velocity, and yes Velocity does matter to armor penetration percentage the higher and closer you are to the target the more likely you are to penetrate (hope this helps)

ABMH you get rarer items like golds or Reds more often in Forbidden and Lockdown than normal. The level / tier are: Normal (Mostly purple but rarely gold and even rarer reds), lockdown (mostly golds and purples but rarely reds) and Forbidden (with a higher red percentage boosted in each safe alongside gold items percentage boosted so you're more likely to get those two) but it all depends on your inner luck. (Hope this helps)

I suggest if you want to farm purple items for contact barters do a covert or normal (Zero to Hero or cheap kit nothing fancy)

ABMH yes there are, lots of them. You can use t5 to get better opportunity on surviving close quarter shots or even tank a few armor piercing bullets like m80 in forbidden! Since most people use Fbz kit Instead of actual loadout they are mostly given t4 Bullets. If We're talking t6 it's a bit of a 50/50 whether you see m61 mk14 it all depends on your luck but if you want the upper hand try it! Using high tier gears are fun. (Hope this helps)

No, not really. All that matters is that you can kill your opponent without dying. Armor is just for you to give you time to react if you happens to get shot. Higher tier of armor expands your time to react and return fire, but this can be nullified because of T6 ammo and some T5 ammo as well (some T5 ammo can pierce T6 easily).

So if you can kill your opponent using practically any gear, the 400k+ gear is not really worth it. As 100k kit can do the same but much much more cheaper and easy to replace. Remember you are using very expensive kit that is hard to replace if you happens to die, better use 4 100k kit instead.

However, if you want to have fun using 400k+ gear, then go ahead. As long as you don't get mad and accept losing it if you die.

Faction guns and Licences

Hey there bud!
In Arena Breakout we have two main factions, Colom (CDSI) and Tevilla (MNST) each season both factions get a few guns exclusive to that faction for a limited period of time, like last season CPW and MP5K

Not only do faction contacts have this limited time guns, they also have 2 permanent ones locked behind a licence, The Famas and the Groza

To get this you need to complete the whole mission tree, in which you can get access to those linceses, unlocking those guns
Once you unlock them, they can be permanently bought using faction money

It used to be by a separate set of missions that gave you one license per season, but they changed that

ABMH for ratting, its advised to use glass canon strats. For example, you use AEK with AP / SVDS with 7n37 without using armor. You can kill anyone with easily and you wont get hit since you got the upperhand advantage on ambushing your opponent.
If you want to use leg meta, bring a lot of grenade to deal damage when your enemy are holding angle

ABMH the most common use gun to rat is overall a cheap gun with cheap bullets and the bullets that do high fleah damage to shoot players in the legs like a mp5 unmodded with dumdum ammo or other stuff like s12k or a if your feeling more rich you can go use mpx or p90 or just generally normal guns if you dont mind spending some koen to do some rattting or for long distance a mosin with t5 ammo for cheap but its preferably to use svds,m14,m110 that is semi

Hey there! Hope you're having a fantastic day

In Arena Breakout we have a solo vs solo mode but it's a limited time event only, which is a shame, every now and then they drop it and can be played again, for now it's not available.

In a few dev talks back, the main dev Zgilly recognised the need for a solo ops, because there are a lot of players that just prefer being a long wolf
His response whas that AB is a Squad focus game, and they don't plan in adding lone wolf as a permanent mode but rather as a timed event, hopefully we get another round soon

Armor levels

Morning!, hope you day is still going fantastic

In Arena Breakout we have 6 different levels of armour protection, ranging from almost useless T1 to T3 armour, the most common one being T4, this one is the middle ground and has the best of both words
The average Tier 4 vest will get you decent protection against bot bullets and every player running T3 or lower ammo, for a decently cheap price

T5 is a bridge between T4 and T6, a bit more pricey than T4 but offers better protection and durability, even from players running tier 4 ammo

This is the kind of armour I recommend once you have a solid amount of koens, just because nowadays T5 vest are almost trice the amount of that of a good T4

T6 is focused more on wealthier players, with a single piece going up to 160k in price

It's the better armour in the game, but it's has it's drawbacks such as price, repair cost and weight, it also does not guarantees invincibility, specially when we have guns that have T6 and even a few that can run T7 ammo.

That's one of the reasons why most people decide to run T4 or T4 armor

Personally I highly recommend sticking to T4 in your early game, not only is a good tier it's also reasonably cheap for what it offers, and it's my go-to for most of my games.

ABMH : Matchmaking in Arena Breakout doesn't have rank limit, so you can meet legend even if you're a vanguard or rookie.

But if you managed to kill them you will get a lot of rank point so you can rank up easily.

Higher rank will give better items in the rank shop remember to buy it before it resets next week.

ABMH at this point reaching 10m koen you have capability to consistently purchase high quality gear to use in match. i still put the focus for guns and ammo on the cheaper side.
for farm or valley lockdown i recommend using medium ranged AR such as M4 with M855A1/AP, MDR with M855A1/AP, AK12 with 5.45x39mm BP, AK-74N with 5.45x39mm BP, ACE31 with 7.62x39mm BP, T951 with 5.8x42mm DVP88/DBP10. SMG is possible for use such as mp5 with 9x19mm 7N31, MPX with 9x19mm 7N31, P90 with 5.7x28mm SS190 but they have less accuracy and range.

both map have possible longer distance engagement so its possible to use M110 or M14 with 7.62x51mm M80. if you want to use bolt action, mosin with 7.62x54mm SNB or m24 with 7.62x51mm M62 is recommended. choosing to use m24 i highly recommend using the CDIS faction barrel extension to change the firepower from high to ultra high, and increase its accuracy and effective range. the only downside to using barrel extension is this mod will occupy the muzzle slot so you cant add a suppressor. make sure to bring sidearm such as deagle with .44 JSP, F57 with SS190, MP9 or G18C with 7N31 to handle close range fights.

ABMH : Looking for a fairly cheap weapon with really cheap ammo i suggest to use the SVDS.

This gun only cost around 40K if you want to play in useable build or 80K if you wanna play for a long term survival build.

As for the ammo you can use the 7BT1 that only cost 300 koen each but have T5 penetration so it's a really good ammo
