As for damage and bullet speed, its mainly the effective range and firing power of the gun. For bullet speed it will still the same as the bullet stat of you using, until it is hit beyond the effective range of your gun and the speed and damage will decrease and the bullet drop effect starts to take place.
Firing power affects the damage and the penetration of your bullet, so if the gun has ultra high fire power it will deal more damage than the base stat of the bullet. If its low, the bullet can deal lower damage and lower pen stat.

If you are sniping and after you fired your shot (unsuppressed or suppressed) it will make gunshot. The enemy can track where you are if they are inside of your gun report range (Report range is the range of your gun makes once you fired a shot). Even if you are far away, there might be hostiles near you. And you need to be aware at all times, otherwise the enemy will track and kill you. Also, as for sniping, i recommend you fired 1 shot every few minutes instead of few shots within a minute. After you kill and confirmed your location is clear, you move and relocate.

It is much much more efficient and effective to use T4 ammo on ACE-31 and put an extended barrel on it. This is because the extended barrel on the ACE-31 changes the fire power of the gun from medium to high which makes a lot of difference.

Even if you have a stock ace-31 with an extended barrel, as long as you hit your shots you can kill T5s and T6 easily. If you put AP on it, it can even one shot alien at times.

AKM on the other hand is dirt cheap, however I don't recommend you bring T4 ammo or T5 ammo on it due to there being a much better option like ACE-31 and AEK.

The Ace 31 is a better AKM with it's recoil control fire rate and firing power I recommend using it over the AKM

A T6 armor under 60 durability is not really usable because it decays very fast plus youve to consider the cost of repair and the cost of sales. If a T6 armor can be sold for 70/80k and youll spend 50k on repair, its nor really worth it because youll be spending most of your profits on it. Just use it really.
