This ammunition can kill anyone as long you can get them in the head. ( Can penetrate low durability tier 5s. )

This ammunition is GT lead so it is good , you can kill anyone with this ammunition even if you shoot on their thorax or head. This is the best tier 5 ammunition that can penetrate almost anything.

This ammunition is incredibly overpowered but it is the most ( or second ) expensive ammunition , all it takes is a 1-3 shots on both head and thorax your enemy is dead.

AP Slugs seem good but the issue is they lose their damage trying to go through armor. You need more than 2 shots in my experience if you are fighting just T3, let alone T4.

It's saved a little if you're using the Fully Automatic Shotguns like the USAS, or the DP-12.

Otherwise most shotguns do not have the fire-rate to make use of it. Except maybe the SPR-12, but that needs a reload to get a 3rd shot in.

Depending on the situation it can be considered both luck and skill, it is hard to fight T6. You had to take the shot first, make sure your aim is pinpoint it takes skill. And then the luck part, your bullet that only had T4 (lower chance to pierce T5 and above) pierced that T6 which kills it. So it can be said both combinations.
