Helicopter Helmet / KSS / KSS2 - The Helicopter Helmet gives all-round face protection as well as a built in headset. But use the KSS Series if you wanted to apply a face mask and better headset.
And finally; Gun of choice, I wouldn't mind really as long as it suits for combat in the bunker

The easy way to get loot is to move from one point of interest to another. I recommend you play port, and rush port authority and hold there, there are 4 free safes on the map. Derwin which is very easy to kill in my opinion, and it gives you 200k each time you kill him.

standard storage (like all beginners)..I am replacing a small crate on a bigger one but I have no more space for additional expansion.so the smaller box is taken out to main storage and takes up valuable space. What is more profitable for a newbie ?

ABMH I recommend using the bag stacking method by expanding a old bag (it takes 16 spaces while has 20 space inside)
Can fit a cowhide bag/rush bag

I recommend putting a cowhide bag then a rush bag inside and. After that put 2 fa multipurpose rig or a fa commander rig (for the extra 2 storage )

ABMH if you have spare bonds I recommend to buy the additional chest space so you can put the small box into use and can be replaced with a bigger one later on

But if you don't have bonds it's better to sell it than rather than keeping it. It just takes away space in your storage

ABMH the mathematically best option to save the most amount of space possible is to place two FA commander/B6 Tactical rigs inside of a RUSH backpack, place that backpack inside of an Old Bag, and place that inside of an AMP Assault bag, which can hold two old bags.
This AMP Assault bag>2x Old Bag>RUSH bag>Commander/B6 rig combo takes up 30 grids of storage while containing 80 grids of storage.

ABMH take a t2 armor and an m3a1 so you can kill a bot for their kit,
hunt the bots with green armor because they carry ak102 with t3 ammo and loot port authority from top to bottom then get out as fast as possible to avoid coverts.
There’s lots of ratty corners in Port so it should be pretty easy to avoid players and focus on surviving.
Tip: the scav bots carry an Old Bag while the Port Authority guards carry t3 armor and a 14 slot rig. Make sure to disarm the tripwires for free grenades as well

Strategy on port from zero to hero is to search for a bot to kill and grab their armor and then immediately rush port authority. You can immediately rush safes in few location other than port authority, you must get armor to rush port authority the bots there are deadly accurate. Kill the bots inside the port authority to grab their better gun (AK-74N). After that you go inside and hold or try to take over port authority, remember to aim for the legs since the bots only have T2 ammo. On the minute 23 of the raid you need to get off the port authority and move to an extraction zone. DO NOT I say again DO NOT stay on port authority after 15m of the raids, you will get rushed by coverts. That's all I can say as for now for zero to hero run. Good luck.

As for making money port is the best thing to make Koen, it is small map has derwin and 4 free safes. If derwin spawn I highly recommend you to take over port authority immediately, since he will have t5 and rpk (or AEK) in total adding up to 200k loot value. After you kill derwin, hold port authority (open some keys if you want, and don't forget to loot the location) until the 23 minute mark and the extract through the alternative extraction zone (i.e not sewer extract).

ABMH buy the t4 armor and helmet from Randall, the t951 and foregrip+laser from Joel, its respective 3x scope from the market and some faction meds for a super cheap but highly effective t4 kit suitible for any map on normal or Port Lockdown. The t4 5.8 ammo is one of the cheapest t4 in the game and is highly effective.

ABMH make sure the right mount is attached, and inspect the weapon and then select the desired scope and then tap the optic slot that should be highlighted green. This may be easier to process through the gunsmith so tap on the weapon and then tap "modify" to get bring up the modification menu

ABMH , don’t run in open places like the beach in Valley, if you can try to stay away from the ocean and more towards rocks/any cover. It’s really easy to get sniped by people when you’re out in the open. Also don’t stay in the garage of Villa. People from court can see you because of rendering issues if they have a big scope. Be wary of any “rat areas”, like the wheat field hut in farm, if you are ever gotten ratted you’ll at least be wary of that place. People like hiding in there and sniping people that come across. You can always use stun grenades to check for rats, they can render players (make them show footsteps on the compass) in a small area you throw it to.

You can get gear token by doing events and scratch events.
But if you have money and wanna be cheap on gear just go with the mp5

ABMH T85 is a viable option if you are broke or near broke (and still viable as rich). Use the LRN ammo which is cheap and aim for the legs, it will shred anyone in 10 shot and it has decent fire rate and almost no recoil to no modification at all. I recommend you put a suppressor on your T85 and a scope that is cheap like TRDS.

There's not really such thing as countering grenades, but you can lessen the damage you get by doing the following;

1. Lay down and face the opposite direction of any shrapnel grenade. You'll take less damage on the body and avoid the risk of dying with a shrapnel on your face.
2. Simply run. Tactically reposition yourself and don't run like a headless chicken (quickly search for different cover, etc). Or simply rush the enemy when you hear them cook more grenades (effective but not recommended)

You're not tremendously broke, that's a good number, actually. I recommend you to sell ammunition that you don't use (Example. If you don't use the T951/T03, then sell your DVP88/DVC12 and keep the A1s if you main M4A1) and turn the money to budget loadouts. Keep doing that until you reach around 10m storage value. It was what I did to get rich myself so this is just a suggestion.

ABMH the best way to get cash quickly is to survive and extract with loot, avoid pvp, and generally lay low and search everything. Or if you are skilled enough hunting player for pvp get their gear and survive is the best way to earn Koen. Remember, prioritize over yourself first don't get into stupid engagement where your chance of winning is so slim that it's not worth fighting.

When selling guns, only sell the important parts (Barrel, Handguard, Bolts) say, if you wanted to use the stock or scope for other guns, keep them in your storage. However, lesser items such as rails should be sold to contact, it's no use selling them or keeping them in your storage. Secondly, you can make guns easier to store by removing the grip and magazine from the gun, turning the (example) 2x4 into a thin 1x4. Some weapon stocks are foldable and they remove one storage.

You can try to recognize the TV Station first by playing a few raids in Lockdown. But the PMCs won't have Tier 4 ammo since it isn't Forbidden. It's most recommended that you play until you get familiar with certain spots and angles until you can challenge yourself in the Forbidden Zone. Just watch out since the map is small, full of rats and has 3 bosses.

The PMCs in Forbidden usually carry a 5.56x45 guns (M16, SCAR-L) so you'll get alot of M855A1 ammo. But they'll also have different guns such as the SKS (7.62x39) and FAL (7.62x51). Be careful since Forbidden Zone bots are stronger and can break your arms immediately.
