ABMH You can definitely try other maps and see how it goes but if you're looking for higher geared players and more expensive map loot you will have better luck finding them in lockdown and forbidden maps. This comes with the obvious increase in challenge but that's always the trade-off

Learn the spawn point first. Sometimes First minutes sandwitch is unavoidable. Flee, hold position undetected ( most risky ) and fight ( preferably 3rd paty em ) is your choice.

Areas that you need to watchout

• The junction of gen office, medical room (2nd floor), and elevator
• dir office
• loading dock switches and its expoint. ( watchout for excampers in balconies and stairs angle that goes to 1st floor corridor. Thats also a spawn point ).
• lounge window (2nd floor) <-> parking lots (1st floor)

Most fight are fought in 2nd floor. Unless its still early or late in the game.

Northeast spawn. The sets are the most risky spawn imo. Ppl from 2nd floor balconies near recording room can see you.

ABMH: Try playing outside first to get used to it. My advice is to play a lot in the radar station area, you can be a camper or a rusher there depending on your skills. The most important skill is prowess in shooting at close range and responding to your condition, such as someone chasing you or a sniper. If you are used to it, you can start entering the armory bunker area

ABMH: since you are playing inside amoury. You got a fully available local source of 5,45 PP and 7,62 PS. But if you want hollow point ammunition. 7,62 HP and 545 HP should be enough until you kill those bot and get access to 7,62×39 PS/ 5,45×39 PP. There are other too such as M855 and BPZ.

ABMH , recommend speed if you are sniper/long range. It makes it easier if you have to change positions/flank. Take bulkier armor if you are more close range, CQC. You’ll be able to tank more shots and protect yourself better but you’ll also lose ergonomics if it’s bulky. Generally if you have a good ergonomics gun it wouldn’t matter like the Aug which has an ads scope in speed buff.

ABMH , although SMGs have the upper hand in hipfire, ARs also work pretty well for leg meta. Like the F2000 it costs around 40-45k for a stock version. It works pretty well since it has one of the best hip fires in the game and it’s just as fast as an SMG. The AKM with HP ammo isn’t to be underestimated, if you can hit your shots it’ll take down anyone since it has higher base damage than dumdums. But FAL is better since UN has the highest base damage (88) and it’s cheap.

ABMH , FAL T5. The M995 sometimes fails me against T6 players, it just takes more shots because it’s just not as good as M62. You might as well just buy an AUG that has the same stats and costs less. It also has more range. That’s why I don’t use the M4 anymore.

ABMH , recommend wearing lightweight armor (armor that doesn’t restrict movement speed and ergonomics too much). SEK fortress is a good t4 example. IND401 chest piece is also pretty good and it’s cheaper if you trade with contact. 2 Transceiver and 2 pliers. You should carry a big backpack if you plan on looting a lot but otherwise players may have higher backpacks if you kill any. A gun with long range is important since valley is full of snipers. Running in the open is very risky. For farm lockdown, you can bring close range weapons if you know how to play with CQC weapons. Use the bushes to your advantage when moving, have smokes if you get shot from somewhere you don’t know. Always stay near cover in case you get shot. Watch out for the wheat field hut, people sometimes camp in there. You should also know the spawns, it’ll give you an advantage to where players are.

Cheap and reliable pistol is depending to the user, if the user are accurate M300 revolver is the way to go the ammo for it were really punchy and powerful and you can get an ammo which pierce every armor in the game. F57 is another good choice, you can use it as a sidearm to your main weapon, and also it's very precise and can 1 shot kill a t4 if use with t4/t5 ammo. And the deagle, it's very good with good ammo, can 2 shot a t4 with t4 ammo, so it's a solid choice. And now to the Glock 18, it's slightly expensive, but still less than some MP5 build, it has a very high fire rate can shred almost anyone if use the right ammo. if used with t4 ammo it can shred even t5 in seconds, if you use the dumdum I can down an enemy really fast. But don't forget to aim at the legs if using dumdum, you won't do anything against armored opponents if you aim for their protected parts.

Mostly pvp, however the strategy you said can be a valid choice. Going around the map, opening keys, looting a low pvp zone of point of interest can make you big bucks. Avoid fights if you can, going into less traveled paths. Be sure to equip some big bags tho if you are doing this, since your inventory slots will go full relatively quickly. And remember your objective is to extract with your life intact.

I tend to lose gunfights at mid-far range but I've had some success jumping people in close range with a fairly budget S12K build I made using fletching buckshots.

Which shotgun would you guys recommend and would it be worth bringing a more expensive one? I usually play normal with only a stack of ammo and some healing items and loot gear off of bots.

ABMH s12k is already a decent cheap shotgun that shoots fast but I recommend to try using type 8 instead of Fletching if your in close range you sometimes knock down players 2-3 shots with it

If your planning to buy a expensive shotgun I would recommend the usas it's basically like the better version of s12k

it is easier and faster to kill a t3 with flechette, the ammo will pen through their armor quite easily, if you aimed on thorax.
on the other hand, type 8s need 2 hit to fully kill/knock someone

ABMH : dp12 is a pretty decent shotgun with great accuracy and range. The only thing i recommend with it is to use it while you have cober around you since you're pretty vulnerable while you're racking the bolt to load the next two shots

Flechette for normal, type 8 for lockdown should be fine

Abmh: yesnt, the fact is that external mags got the advantage of being a take out switch to a full one, which also takes a rig with space, however a internal mag got the advantage of not needing mags in rigs but the backfire of you needing to reload every single round by itself, which takes a LOT longer then just racking a new mag in a usas or a s12k as example.

Its kind of alright, its two round burst CAN pretty much kill a person if you aimed good enough

ABMH : the best ammo (pen wise) you can load into shotguns is t3. And in lockdown, t4 is the bare minimum people usually carry. At that point, you'll have to rely a lot on rng to hopefully pen the armor before they two tap you. Instead, you can use type 8 and shoot their legs out in 2-3 shots which is far more consistent because it doesn't depend on pen

then

do your faction missions, finish all of them

then you will get a mission for permit

finish it then you get to choose permit, groza or famas

it’s not reputation, it’s an item you get for completing the non-weekly faction missions. I think you have to do someone else’s mission before being able to unlock the faction missions

ABMH the best place to use thermal is big open spaces like the armory(outside) or Northridge or farm and mine makes finding players with thermal easier but also camp where your not in a obvious position while doing it

the way I got it was way back in the earlier seasons, I had to complete both sides of the non-weekly which was like 12 or 15 for each side then it would show an option to pick which side but first you gotta do the armory mission for vladen and the other middle aged guy with a beard to be introduced to factions

ABMH , imo they are a great alternative to the 700-800k thermal imagers. They aren’t that bad if you put it on a good ergonomics gun with decent range. I use AUG for 3.5x thermal and AN94 for NIT-a thermal. I only buy them if it’s cheap, like the 3.5 they sometimes sell for 280k when it’s 340k. I only use when im with a team, so they can get it for me if I die. Also it’s great if it’s non operational so you can just lockbox it if you bring a spare scope. Kinda tedious but really helps in fights that are against thermals or peeking windows of hotel into sniper hill using smokes.
