Honestly the VSS isn't really a long-ranged weapon in the traditional sense.

I think at most I'd put something that gives a bit more magnification than nothing, but it's not a sniper rifle.

Max range is 60+ I think, which is enough range to just hit someone on the other end of a street in Port or similar maps.

Abmh: vss isent really a long range gun, you hit over like 40-60 meters, yes, but the thing is the accuracy, range and bullet speed really mesy you up, so you cant shoot too long range, its more of a medium to close range gun, you can very much effectively tapfire it over 40 meters tho, even without grip if you get used to it.

Best sight for it and any other gun in the game imo is the okp-7

But not suitable for heavy direct engagement because the vest being lightweight but it exchange mobility in cost of protection and it had little effect on mobility. Only -3 and none on ergonomic made it good for users that made use of speed. Surprises elements and the rapid assault but it also can be acquired from TV stations bots and fred. Along from deke and found in raid as well..

Made the vest quite universally within most user itself so it quite reliable for all kind of users. But a reminder. It still not for direct engagement that use heavy ammunition. And the vest itself are quite cheap to it availability within the BGU in TV stations and use by juveniles along with fred in NR and it can be trade from deke as time limited offers and that all.

Northridge: mainly T3 most of the time. Some POI can getting T4 or T3 entirely or mixed and the boss/bot followers are all T4 but some of them are Still T3s

Valley: a mix of T1/T2s along with some T3s. Boss and they followed are same but with T4 and T2/T1 added

Amoury: mainly being both T3 for outside the amoury and T4 equipment inside the amoury. But with some T4 and T3 element mixed with each others inside the amoury as well

Port: Mainly T3/T2 for bots and T5/T3/T4 for boss and they followers (lockdown included as well)

ABMH all the t3 you said you had can be sold or just start taking multiple mags with different tiers to start getting more comfortable using t4 rounds without going full drums. The difference in effectiveness easily justifies the cost difference since t3 armor is highly uncommon to encounter in LD besides the sh12 helmet. You will want to transition to using t4 as soon as you can. I used a t3 drum for bots and a smaller mag of t4 for players to maximize the effectiveness but minimize the potential loss

ABMH you can mix mags but i wouldn't suggest that you do. It's hard enough to keep track of what is in the mags of one ammo type unless they are visually different and repacking mixed mags just complicates it further. The 1 x drum 1 x 30 round mag strategy is tried and true. obviously casing the t4 reload ammo would be ideal if possible otherwise be very intentional when using that t4 mag or only bring an additional 30 rounds
