ABMH Type 8 buckshot is generally the best ammo for shotguns, but if you want higher range and damage, use GT slugs, it deals very high damage to flesh but it only shoots one pellet, but it increases range too.

really depends on the range, Type 8 is lack of range which misses some of the pellets, while GT slug can deal the same damage as Type 8 on mid range. GT slug can knock by 2 shots in the legs, while Type 8 can knock about 2-4 shots

ABMH mk14 is better all around stock and fal is not but when is moddified fal can be better and mk14 gets even better then it use to be. For example, if you set up your fal to be short, it will be at most good for cqc and mid range at most while mk14 not modified will be good for cqc, mid range and if you control well recoil it will be good for long range, if you modified your fal for mid and long range you could still be able to battle cqc but you will loose the advantage tbat the short fal gives you for cqc at least thats my opinion in the time I have used both guns

I figured out why the sniper barrel isn't working

Apparently you can't even use an M4 reciever

ABMH: you pretty much are.

So i am going to make some comparisons here, some may be biased so take it with a grain of salt.

the mk14 is in the core very similar to a long fal, despite that there are some differences still between these two guns.

1. The Recoil.

Starting with the biggest advantage of the MK14, the recoil. While the fal comes stock with 57/54 recoil control, a fal comes stock with 45/38.

A mk14 costs stock (if bought from the market at a good price) 50-60k, while it costs you about 60k, making it stand at a similar price point.

However if one decides to go all out on recoil control: a fal costs 83k to get to a 65/69, a mk14 costs around 95k to get it to a 73/78.

The most common used Short barrelled fal (for the rest of this guide refered to as SBF/sbf) however got significantly worse recoil control at a worse price: 60/62 for 85k minimum.

2. The Range.

A mk14 stock got 100 meters range and with the extended barrel it goes up to 115 meters, a fal however got 124 with a long barrel (which is near never used for meta builds as it simply got bad ergo which is the main reason to pick a fal), however the most commonly used lays at around 92 meters in comparison.

3. The Accuracy.

Really long story really short, a sbf got 32ish while a long fal got about 62, however the mk14 stands strong at a 70 with a muzzle device.

4. The RPM.

This stat is the same for the fal since its bound to the reciever, its 630 for the fal and 700 for the mk14, making the fal shoot 10% slower then the mk14 in comparison, this breaks down to a ttk difference of about 0,05 seconds with m80.

5. The Price.

A full meta sbf costs just about 130k while a full meta mk14 costs about 120-125k

6. The Ergo.

Thats where the sbf actually shines through, the sbf got about 20 whole points of ergo more then the mk14, which makes it more viable in cqc.

For Valley, you get decent gear from bots but also since the map is filled with "fake players", you actually get good guns from them. For Northridge, some bots carry expensive guns like Vector 45/9, USAS, etc. Lastly, Port has a lot of bots with good equipment like old backpacks but also a lot of AK's from the Port Authority.
