Shotguns mainly go for leg meta., Assault rifles can be wary depends on who you are. DMRs and Snipers generally go for headshots. unless you're that guy who enjoy spent more than a single bullet of T6 7.62x51 on enemy body armors. (Not apply for FAL/MK14 that classified as DMR/AR hybrid)

ABMH If you are a very skilled player and accurate with your shots you might be able to get away with m855 in an m4 on lockdown but I wouldn't call it "good". You might as well use HP rounds and aim for legs, your time to kill will probably be faster or at least the same as trying to pen everyone's t4 armor

Try northridge/velley and scavenging in Area that aren't hotspots. (But you might find yourself getting sniped every so often.)
