You used it for "utility" which restore your leg stamina and arm stamina during your fight or perhaps when you in a big map running towards certain destinations.
And another one is basically you don't want it to have certain debuff since thirst will continues to decreasing your health. and hunger have like 3 stages where stages 1 and 2 will make your stamina regen slower, more punishing. then stage 3 just basically everything combine including your health kept decreasing.

ABMH : Certain missions require you to be within covert ops, if the missions didn't said that otherwise you can completed the mission regularly. (despite within coverts)

ABMH : Merit can be increased from playing regularly, so just don't worry about it too much, (unless you're down to lv3 merit that banned you from random matchmaking with teammates) but otherwise you can just playing the game as you used to even if you have to played it in solo of course.
Also you can restore up to 300 merit daily.

ABMH just playing if you extract and play you can get +15 or +10 point but if you bring teamate gear you can get +25 so better just take your friend gear so your merit will faster recover and there is limit per day just have +300

ABMH : If you don't like fighting with players, Scavenge throughout the map would be your best bet, (Like Northridge/Valley where you can avoiding players as you liked as long if you didn't get sniped.)
Northridge tend to have highest free safes count, meanwhile Valley you focus on Airdrop capsules.
And of course another one is killing players. (Ratting/Camping or face to face.)

If you want to snipe and see both stable and motel you can try the broken bridge in the middle of them but it's too risky because you can get sniped from the south wheat field area.

The only save area to snipe in Farmland is inside the main building of stable,Inside the villa,inside the lone house near the villa.

If you want to separate the boss from the body guard you can use tear gas and throw to them they will immediately run away from the tear gas zone and lower their guard for some second.
