ABMH : There's no such best factions for you to join but they got different playstyle when come in term of their main weapons of faction.

You got groza (Andre-MNST) which is had it's own benefit like 50 drum mags, but you limited in certain modification for weapons you had to used specific one. (high ammo cost as well.)

You got famas (Kayla-CDIS) which main down size being that 25 mag and you can't have anything else, but their ammo is sort of flexible but their fire-rate are unforgiving but you have benefit of most 556 attachments.

ABMH : AKM is alright but to get the recoil reduction right you'll have a hard time and it will become expensive eventually plus the fire-rate just decent enough for you to get going.
However there's better option such as AEK or something else.
