Nope, it’s useful for tanking hits and pushing if you know how to use its intended role and purpose.

The view port is the most vulnerable tho, especially if the glass breaks, one lucky shot to the view port instantly kills u unless u are wearing face protection.

Your legs are also exposed and flesh damaging ammo can shred you. You can also use it to protect your back if you unequip the shield and u can use machine pistols and pistols (obviously)

this and the fact that, the exact type of ammo M80 comes from can pierce limbs, meaning if he shot in your arms, it'll go through and hit your chest.
