Honestly it might be a desync problem, but even if a bullet hits the thorax where it “doesn’t cover” doesn’t mean it wont register as armor, because the game would just be plain rage bait then. If the person HAS armor on and it COVERS THEIR THORAX it will obviously block it, in this case, you either had a desync problem, missed the AP shots, had ABSOLUTELY NO AP IN there, or there was like a couple of AP, but the last couple in THE MAG were hs.
