Friend A is interested enough to go to this concert but doesn't currently have the budget to get to it. Not broke, can afford, but just not in allocated budget. Friend B has 2 tickets a lower box and general admission ticket.

Rest of friend group peer pressures friend B into giving general admission ticket to friend A. Friend A isn't good with social cues and is an introvert. Friend B is also an introvert. Friend B ends up giving ticket to Friend A.

Now before and after the concert, Friend B is ASKING (this is important) if they could have the freebies that Friend A got from the event. Friend A says "they'll see", but decided that they'll keep the freebies as memorabilias.

Now Friend B is regretting giving the ticket and Friend A is genuinely confused. Now Friend B straightout gets dramatic the group is sorta split.

One side saying that Friend A should have given Friend B the freebies as some sort of
"returning the favor for the ticket"
saying that
"it should be understood"
also saying that Friend A
"is ungrateful when you were already given a free ticket"

The other side says
"they gave you the ticket, of course it's yours"

"they didn't say any conditions when they gave you that ticket so you weren't expected to give them anything back"

Now Friend A feels confused. Like they feel guilty since they keep hearing the complaints but doesn't genuinely understand what they did wrong cause first, there was no conditions. Second, they didn't even know the ticket was given out of peer pressure. Third, it was given to them even though they didn't really ask for it.
They love the band and of course the experience was a blast. They really love getting memorabilias. Now friend A is thinking that it would have been better if they weren't given the ticket at all since the issue taking over the good memories of the concert.
