ABMH:

For sniping, it's always mandatory to take high ground so that you have a good and large view for easier enemy-spotting. It is also necessary to engage in large maps such as valley or Northridge. Unless you can fight cqc with a sniper. One last thing, always aim for the head (with the right ammo ofc), and don't wait for a "perfect shot" or else you might blow your cover.

all you really need to do is aim slightly in front of the target, if they're running within like a 45° cone of your position bullet travel shouldn't mess you up, but anything greater than that and you should aim slightly in front of the enemy that way they travel into your bullet's flight path

for a good rule of thumb, if you can see the direct front or back of their head, just take the shot as normal, but if you see the majority of the side of their head then take the shot ever so slightly in the direction that they're running
