There are laser devices with an offset like MAWL for mounting on the top rail. It's not like they obscure the sight picture anymore, they removed attachment obstructions when you ADS. Builds like you're describing usually have an optic riser.

alot of people dont know this but if you play armory you can go to radar station and get a 2nd scanner for free

only thing is you have to activate mission in which lots of bots come after you for like 3 mins then tou can scan the whole map

just be careful becuase scanners can be unreliable so many times i have scanned just for nothing to show up and i get a bad feeling still
