Alright next thing to try, can you download/install the Epic Games Launcher. Once it's downloaded can you please run this program below?

but for me, i solved the problem

The game was blocked by a firewall

my antivirus firewall

I made B:ET an exception for the firewall

and now it works again

I dont know if that helps anyone, but for me it worked
