I mean I'm not sure how it really helps the devs as I'm certain they have plenty of control while debugging already, but yeah again it would be a cool freeroam mode or whatever

well, beating the game once doesnt mean you have no more stuff to explore, i dont know any game that has such a feature and it would break the multiplayer system due to entirely new players can fly around. This is just a bad idea tbh
