if its just 1 or 2 it can help but people don't realize when they have very long bot definitions, long/detailed persona descriptions, memory box filled, multiple lengthy pinned messages, etc. they’re essentially pre-filling the context window before the RP even starts

I don’t have plus, so my personas are actually quite short. But even if it’s just a few detailed sentences about my character, it goes a long way, at least it feels like it does. The edit button is also a game changer

i would use 1 or 2 max and do your best to keep them relatively concise bc otherwise they're just eating up tokens
