Easily cost tens of thousands per month. they also employ AI researchers, software engineers, moderation staff, legal and policy teams, etc. i'm assuming you think all these people deserve to be paid? so payroll alone would be 500k+ a month. add all this together and it means the app costs at LEAST 2-3.5 million a month to run. even if they had 100,000 plus subscribers paying $10 a month, that still wouldn’t cover everything.
