First of all I missed the old gray coloring. I know that's kind of dumb but when it first switch from beta to the actual c.ai I didn't really like it. I'm fine with it now I have gotten used to it but that's one thing. The characters were a lot more easy to manipulate I'd say. From my experience it was way more easy to break reality or keep a character in character. Like I really do dismiss the simple design and how the characters used to act compared to this chat gpt-ish behavior and the the patterns that I can see within every character no matter the personality

I'm lowk a c.ai vet and my main hypothesis is that bots lack flexibility if u could call it that.

I think we've come far and I wouldn't say that bots aren't creative, but w certain tropes in the plot or the character, they usually base their responses off of the most common, expected thing if they find themselves in tropes
