Totally weird. My C.A.I.+ subscription expired today. It showed the expiration pretty quickly. I topped up my balance and went to "restore." That worked, and I had the C.A.I+ benefits again. So far, so good. But now I see that it hasn't actually deducted the money from my balance (which is usually deducted immediately). I refreshed the Play Store, and then it updated and the money was deducted. What I don't understand is, why did the subscription work even though it didn't take the money? Did C.A.I. kick me out and then let me back in, or was it just a bug, and I don't need to worry?

no problem. The old issue was fixed awhile ago where some people were having to restore their services mid-subscription. The current issue you're having is a normal payment processing delay that can happen with any service

but if a payment is valid, most services will just give it to you even if your bank doesn't process it immediately

Yeah, a good majority were taken down but some are still up. There were quite a few TMA themed bots made by a bunch of different people. It was much more than just one or two people. One of the creators said on X that he didn't want is voice being used for AI.
