Hey, I have a big issue since I got my new phone (iPhone 13mini) and whenever I open the character.ai app, it doesn’t even let me get the login/signup option, it’s just stuck on the logo and black screen. I re-charged my old phone, iPhone SE (2020), re-downloaded the app, and it worked perfectly on there. The iOS is the same (and updated) as on my new phone, and both c.ai apps are updated. On the website on my new phone, c.ai still works, but only if I type in my email and get the mail with a link to my acc. On both phones, through google login doesn’t work (since abt 2 years but I live with that) I thought about just moving on and changing to the website 4ever, but that I can’t do it in the app really bugs me. I can’t use it in my old phone because the battery capacity is low to the point I almost can’t use it, and the back is damaged (the reason why I got the new phone)! I’m non-native, so I hope u can understand. Also, I tried creating a new account, re installing and deleting, clearing cache, installing from purchase history and more 100 times, it still doesn’t seem to work

I have good WiFi and everything!! Yesterday night it showed the signup and login options and I thought I was finally getting there but it didn’t log me in in any way and now it’s back to black and logo

I can only guess the problem is the bots can't initiate actions or speech topics by themselves. They can only response. There's one time my persona was waiting for the character to pass their tea cup to her. And the character drank their tea endlessly while my persona waited silently, to the point that the character responded with sth similar to can I ask you sth.

Bots only read 3,200 characters in their definition! You should ask chatGPT to shorten it down for you and to only keep in the necessary details 🙂
