For example, the fact that you watch the responses being generated. Why not just have a buffering thing before the response generated pops up?

I also don't really like / understand the fact that you have have to write a wordy, lengthy, novel type starter in order for it to give you a decently long response. And by that I mean something that's longer than one swipe of my thumb. I have gone through and tried a different models, and lengthen the response on normal/longer, but nothing seems to be giving me that extremely detailed response that I want. Do I have to write like a Pulitzer Prize winning novel starter in order to get the app to give me an extremely detailed response? I just have noticed that it doesn't really give a lot of details and that their responses are extremely short.

I already stated that I've used different models. I've been up for a good chunk of the morning messing around with it. And the only thing that is getting me longer responses, is writing like a 5 to 6 paragraph extremely detailed starters.

Something else I don't really understand is finding bots. Like they don't really have titles. They just have the character name and their description of what the chat is

About the bots you can search them only by their name and what's under their name is the subtitle but some bots can't be searched like harry potter/ DC/ WB franchise's related characters. But if you got the new feature of the search one you could search bots by language/ people you follow/ if you want popular ones with high interactions or low, etc.

Now about the responses. I will try to find for you a link where someone suggested on how to make it give long/ detailed responses.

Yup, longer prompt is not better for cai LLM.. Shorter (around 250 characters) prompts is better so the bot can expand the context more and the replies become more varies

Then, its better for you to move to other platform. Cai is not meant for that type of length. The closest you can have on cai is by using DS model (cai+) or PS if you want that length consistently.

You can argue that their dataset is outdated. But they‘re kinda forced to limit tokens in datasets because they have so many users. If that‘s the case then their memory won‘t retain that much information . But from my experience, my bots mirror how I write even with emojis and all caps

One thing I will say, a lot of people really really like Nyan. In my experience, my main issue with it is that it pushes plot so hard that I can't have smaller interactions with characters. Like for example, if I wanted to RP cooking over the course of a few messages, Nyan would have it all finished in half of a message and we'd already be out of the door and onto more plot by the end of the same message.
