Idk why ppl complained so much about that part it’s USEFUL!

@harsh shoal hello! I have been having problems with my account. I’ve chatted to other users about this and a user told me to ping you and tell you about it as this happened to them before. I am an adult account but I have possibly the worst bugs — I only have dynamic, nyan, and roar even though I’m supposed to have more, i am unable to edit chats and I cannot start new chats with bots and it says ‘Character no longer available, please select another character’ which confuses me a lot. I hope I’m not bugging you with these problems, reply when you can!

Me personally, I don’t mind it, but I feel bad when I post it on character share because I don’t want other users to feel left out if they want to do a straight or bi roleplay with their favourite characters, only for the plot to be same gender romance.

I may be overthinking it, but what do you think? Should I start turning down these requests so it’s fair for everyone?

If you are adult and have adult account and it's gone for you then it's a bug. But if you are a minor then you can't have it nor edit.

You can report bug if you want and about the chat styles if it's gone missing when you had it before then it's another bug which little people experiencing it. Like not having goro and pawly and other 2 styles.

But Also if you do have vpn or adguard or adblocker on. Go head and turn them off but if you don't then report your issue and send ticket to the team.

A lot of those inputs are repetitive, unoriginal, or badly written. That kind of behavior might actually hurt the quality of the AI’s responses long-term. You can see it already: bots defaulting to tired lines, jumping into physical affection too fast, or asking the same vague questions. Not all engagement is good engagement.

You guys literally feed the data and the LLM pick up or learned from that. It still can be prevent, but its so typical at this point.

Despite how much people complain, Character ai IS improving. It just takes time. The devs do listen to an extent, evident by the existance of soft launch.

What people don't realize is that this is the largest AI character platform out there. It takes time to do these things. Lots of time.

I think people have this misconception that c.ai+ dramatically changes the content of your chats, and it's just not the case. I don't think there's any way to convince these people that c.ai+ isn't "the real" c.ai experience

That's what I'm doing, but in case of really heavy RP with quests, multiple characters, tasks and stuffs, the memory can run out pretty quickly in just a few messages, and the pin isn't always a good option to be used all the time if it's a really lengthy one, since it's gonna make the bot goes wonky.

That can easily be worked around with by unpinning irrelevant memory and then pinning it back again later, but doing that is kind of a pain in the ass.

I will say though, they do stick with the plot very well and it's honestly really cool for characters to be in the scenes with their canon definitions. It's kinda like making an AU bot except it's completely in character

So if I put... Naruto into the fake dating 101 scene, the bot will actually behave with Naruto's personality. That said, I am curious on how much memory is used when the bot knows its own definition plus the scene scenario
