Could happen for a lot of reasons.

• If you give your bot short responses, they'll mimic you and give you the same short responses too, bcs they'd think that's the kind of length you prefer.
  -> Make your response lengthy. Doesn't need to be writer level long, but just a decent length would be nice (1-2 paragraphs with 3-5 sentences each).
• Currently there are some models that are pretty wonky and give you shorter/ cut off responses. Try switching to another styles in the meantime and do this: #📣︱announcements message

Afaik, the feedback channel is more for a place for you to write your feedback about the platform, not really about a new issue that used to not be there. In this case, submitting a ticket would be better.

Rewinding is usually the best option for these kinds of problems. You should also be cautious about the character's responses. If they keep repeating, it's better to swipe. Unfortunately, editing isn’t a solution in this case.

Sending a support ticket is also a good idea so the developers can take a look. 👀

If you have a problem saving/publishing/editing your bots:

• If you're a minor, you can't publish your bot to public.
• Otherwise, it's probably bcs you have some banned words in the description/ definition/ greetings/ tagline/ bot's name that's hindering it.
  The banned words could be smth Harry Potter/DC/WB franchise's related words, violent words (like k!ll, sh, murd3r, etc), or just words that could be seen as inappropriate even if it looks harmless within context.

What you can do:

• If you're unsure which word causes your issue, you can try leaving one paragraph at a time and try to save it, to see which paragraph has the banned words.
• Once you find which paragraph has it, you can try figuring it out on your own which word/s is/are the problem; OR you can send it to here and ask if anyone can help you figure it out.

There is two possibilty here.

1. Because it have pick up the pattern from before. Where the messages were bot, you, bot, you and so on. Hence when click the send button, they will reply as you.

2. Because there is not enough prompts to expand from their own message or yours. Their own reply is too short, hence they need to talk as you to make the rp keep going.

Like, I've actually seen nice features (tho some is pay-walled), such as internal monologue contextualization, and the ALT + ENTER to send an AI oriented message about what you've said earlier. HOWEVER, the major issue for each of them can be about users, the selection, the flirtyness, or the overall performance or the texts being a bit too big

Actually, the manual memory is not something just seen in CAI. There was some sort of discontinued ai app that had a quite similar way of defining memories, but doing so as tags and categories instead

I have not utilized Character AI since the old site was expunged, and I solely utilized said website. I just attempted to use the new web, as I am rather bored, and, once I logged on, my old chats were restored (I never transferred my account.) I found this peculiar, yet, I carried on. Ultimately, when I attempted to speak to any bots— ones which I had saved, and new ones, as well— their introductory messages were never implemented. I am able to chat, yet, they do not respond, and, when I click the “Send” button without stating anything, the website promptly states, “Something went wrong, please refresh or try again later.” And the chat never saves, unless it concerns one of the old bots I utilized. Is this simply some instance of outage, or is it just me? The site is not informing me of anything being wrong, except for that brief statement whenever I speak with the bots.

Any help is appreciated

Hm, i really cant help with this since your style of writing is different from mine.

But here some. First, you need to choose a reply where it doesnt rephrase your own prompts. Swipe until you get those reply and keep going until about 15 messages of the chat, so they can pick up a pattern (where it doesnt being repetitive). Second, write more. You need to help the bot so it can expand more context from your prompts

Try switching to mobile data instead. If it doesn't work, use a VPN or google how to change your DNS.
Make sure you have enough storage too (iirc, it only uses about 200MB-300MB (120MB smth to be exact, but just to be safe).

Like if you're in server A and there aren't that many ppl in server A that use the app, while server B and the others are super active, could explain why you don't get the slow mode while others do. Can someone explain to me what the "parental insight" means? Does it mean my account got Juniored or something? And does anyone else have it?
