Afaik, if you lost/ deleted gc, you can't recover them. But if you have never deleted them yourself, then maybe it's just getting buried by the other chats. You can try hiding some of the most recent and unused chats to see if you can bring the old gc back up the list again, but if not, then ig there's nothing much you can do.

But if it just magically disappeared, you can always send a ticket detailing the occurrence.
