So my google account, which I JUST got c.ai+ on... is back to being free

Does the prompt to make messages "longer" actually work for you guys?

And i dont mean the button is malfunctioning, i just mean is there REALLY any noticeable difference?

Whenever i use it the messages are like, a sentence longer and usually just pan it out instead of doing anything

It's a hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
When it does, it can give you a super lengthy response (the longest I got was 2 scrolls long), but it was pretty much just the bot repeating action/expression to fill the length.

depends on what you want out of it and how often you use c.ai.
If you use it often and you want a slightly better memory, access to beta features & Nyan model, upgrades to basic features like 70 more swipes and extra limit for persona etc, then it's for you.

If not, then probably won't worth that much for you.

Take the search sidebar for example. If you type an initial for the name, the result should only be bots with those initials, not all bots that have that alphabet on their name 💀

Is it the bots that are gone or the chats?
If it's the chats, you can go to History > Archived chats
If it's the bots, all you can do is probably to just look them up again on the search bar.

Is it a group chat with another users or with the bots?
If it's with another users, they currently disabled the ability to have a gc with other ppl, so that could be why it's missing on your end.
If it's with the bots, unfortunately there's no History option for gc, so you might not be able to recover it.

Don't expect it to write gory details, but you can probably have it report that the head is no longer attached. At least on the adult model. I haven't tried the under 18 model.

1k is really nice, but it's gonna take some time depending in what you wanna do about it. Don't forget to rate the messages

i think interaction amount for recommended mostly depends on the lowest amounts of the other bots that appear in search

i've only been recommended a bot under 2k interactions twice, otherwise it's just bots from search

this is gonna sound like a lot of work, but I was having this issue and just edited bot messages to where two in a row were from the bot and I replied to it, it was a pain but it got a little better

inviting another character into the RP can help too

gets the bot more inclined to write for someone other than your persona

do NOT go ooc to tell the bot not to talk to you, it doesn't help

Oh, I see what you're saying. It might depend on how you use it. The system was trained on internet forums where humans were roleplaying, so if it wouldn't have affected the roleplay in that context, then it "shouldn't" affect it on c.ai.

When I used to roleplay back in 2021, I used to use (( instead of a single one, so ig that's how it works. Though this is the only platform that you wouldn't have to specifically type "ooc:" in double colons (99% of the time)

it was a culture shock but tbh i think it all just depends on the specific background people come from with their RP

Another thing as well is that it wasn't until MMOs that I ran into people putting actions in asterisks because in forum RP it was always properly written out where dialogue was in quotes and there was no formatting on actions and internal dialogue
