if you have c.ai+ you should verify your discord account on the c.ai website! Plus users have their own support channel and we get a lot of issues fixed that way. It's in settings on the website, not app

it's not something that can be fixed. What I recommend is making a document that summarizes your pins, then copying and pasting it into the c.ai convo, pinning that, and deleting all of your other pins if you're doing a long RP. Update that document instead when things happen that you want the bot to remember, then paste it back to pin it and delete the old pin as needed.

I got a glitch going on!

So I use the Roar style and responses are generally between 500 to 600 tokens.

Suddenly the AI responses start to cut themselves off. Like the responses become 300 tokens or less and are always left incomplete.

On top of that the response is unrelated to the topic at hand. Say I'm talking about baseball then the bot started spouting off drivel like i.e. "{{char}} is so strong. She's a strong woman in a world made for powerful men. A world meant to"

I don't have memories pinned. I keep my own responses at about 500 tokens or just a little over. I don't know what's going on.

They don't usually respond with direct emails. Usually they respond in the form of your issue getting fixed. But so far for me, nothing's been fixed.

I hope so. At the start I would have this issue on my main account then I'd switch to my spare account and everything is fine on the spare until it glitches out. So I'd switch to the main account and it was working fine until it wasn't. I was basically going back and forth ever since and now about three days ago it's affecting both accounts at the same time.

There's no way to exclude the narration from being read during the call atm, since it's pretty much just like a text-to-speech feature, so everything written will be read by the bot.

So in memories there's 2 sections, there's the pins, and then there's auto-memories. Pinned memories are a very old feature. Double check your persona, your persona bio, and pinned memories, but honestly what's probably happening is the bot needs to either be outright told you changed your name through RP, or you need to edit each message from the bot, because if they bot uses the name kandy it's not just going to stop because you changed your persona. You have to make it stop.

Remember that bots aren't sentient, they are limited to the technology they're made from.

It might be the way you're making bots. Try making something, and then putting it into chatGPT and ask it to format for a character AI definition for you.

But also you need to talk to a bot to train it

No. It's from others. There's a lot of characters from other creators that used to have their descriptions enabled to see, but now they're simply hidden away. It happed with maybe four or five of the creators I follow, so I don't think it is any sort of coincidence

It's probably not a coincidence. They probably hid their definitions because that option is available in character creation. Most people hide their definitions. I 1000% do.
