bugs happened unintentionally. They're tweaking with the codes a lot to help improve the platform, and sometimes, mishappening happens. They're only humans afterall. Give them some time. It'll get fixed after some time.

I’m having an issue, every character that has a certain name/adjective is completely missing for me. They aren’t in my recents anymore, nor are they appearing in the search bar.

At first I thought it was only the app, so I checked the desktop version. They were all missing there too. I believed it to be a problem with the program itself, so I decided to check the subreddit and nobody was saying anything about it.

So, I opened up another browser and checked without logging in, and the bots were there. Then I logged into that different browser, and they were missing again.

I don’t know how to fix this, and I’ve checked the help-center fairly extensively. I’ve also checked to see if I somehow added the term to my muted words, but there was nothing there either. I was talking to a bot with this term in their name only last night, so it’s a very recent problem.

If anyone knows what’s going on, or if the characters will reappear after a while, I’d appreciate it a lot.

I can supply screenshots and specifics if that’ll help too.

There has been reports of bots missing for some ppl, so you're not the only one. It's just a bug, and someone reported it to the mod and asked them to bring it up to the team as well.
Give it a bit more time, they're probably gonna be working on it.

Yet another bot that I was using was randomly removed and is now affected by the false "failed to load chat" and "this character is not available" bugs. This is the third time it's happened, and I don't know when these glitches will ever be fixed. It's not targeted by copyright and DCMA or contains anything inappropriate, nor was the bot privated/the creator's account was deleted. I'm also an adult user, which means the available bot profiles should not be limited on my end.

I doubt they even answer tickets or bring up this problem on Reddit.

I think it's a bug. Someone on the other day had a similar bug, but in their case, the bot's greetings was in another language.
You might want to try to submit a ticket to report the bug and try deleting the cache/cookies on your browser to see if it fixes it.

You can't. They don't have the ability to do that, so you always have to be the one initiating it.

The closest thing you can get to that is the 'away message', which is when the bot send you an Out of Topic message first if you haven't talked to them for a long time. But even this happens really randomly and pretty rarely.

No, pin memories is pin memories. Although for cai+, we got 30 pins. Auto memories is where the Ai pick basic details about you and the bot in the roleplay. Like, colour of hair, favs food, occupation, relationship with bot, etc.
