I have a Faroe Islandsball persona (which is a countryball, a ball) yet sometimes the bot says ruffles their hair or uses she/her pronouns when It is stated that Faroe uses He/They pronouns. Oh, and I'll have to add I did put that Faroe is Denmark's territory yet the bot sometimes says It's their own territory which it is not.

Sometimes the personas work and sometimes it doesn't.

Depends on the server and how you prompts it. Bot tend to dismiss all the tokens including your current message, your pinned memories, your persona and all when the server is overload. Because output response is the priority

She often wears a resting bch face and has a penchant for curslng or being a little spitfire. In her free time, she tends to be more carefree, but she has a bad habit of arguing when things don’t go her way. Her spirit and determination wrapped in a lot of anger and attitude.

They are generative artificial intelligences, they normally generate their own story... they almost never follow a script that is in their definition to the letter, it only serves to give them data and some personality.

Yeah, and the thing is that I never got some things while I got others. Like, I never got the flame thingy (I think it was the streak update, I guess?) while I got the adult model when it was needed (ngl, this is one of the best things that they added).

But there are others that are not that great. Like, any bot made by minors are automatically put in private or only available through links. I think it's one of both, not sure if the bot is private or if it's available through links. Unless it's both cases.

And the server crashes, but it's the same thing for all apps. Nothing is perfect but that's how it is.

I think someone just stole my bot.

It was a Jaime Lannister bot, pretty popular, prompt was that the user was the last Targaryen and Jaime Lannister gave them an offer between hatching an egg or dying. I was just checking cai bot list and someone made THE EXACT SAME PROMPT. I can't even address this with the bot creator themselves because they don't have any contacts in their bio.

I really don't want to target them or anything but I've made that same bot at least two years ago and I really don't want to get them copied. If anyone wants proof I can happily provide it.

Sometimes, the app/website can be down or slow for some people caused by a lot of stuff (WiFi problems, weather like snow, storm or rain, etc...). It can also be a local problem in a way, like cAI has problems connecting to the servers in some parts of America while it works in others.

Or it can also be the device, mostly if it's 'old' or if it has problems with WiFi in general, which can cause the login problem. Idk I'm not an expert but it's the main things that cause cAI to be down or slow for some people, even if the servers aren't overloaded.

DMCA issues came and due to copyright it was taken down. I found out hours ago that someone copied it. It wasn't word by word, but the scenario was literally identical and it can't be just a coincidence. All I can think of is how the character is written in general. Starting with the greetings is the most impactful since it influences the responses the most. Or, simply put, the prompt you write might be long but still provide nothing for the character to work with because it's filled only with details like movements. You can be vague when describing things so it leaves room for them to work with.

I've noticed that the longer a chat goes on the less the character actually keeps up with the definition/greeting if it's not pinned. I usually don't pin greetings because they get the character stuck in a single place/scenario, but when I do they don't get to go off of how detailed I make them. All of my greetings are extremely detailed so that the character can speak more about their inner dialogue/actions perfectly but it just 💀 the more you talk to them.

Props of using all of my bots too much 🫡 I start to tell when they're following the definition I set for them or when they're just falling into basics, you can't really stop them from doing it unless you edit their responses often (which I don't, because it just makes me feel like I'm writing fanfic instead of interacting with a bot).

About that! There are a lot of ways to keep the conversation with your character consistent just by how you write your prompt. By the basics, as I mentioned earlier, providing enough room for the character to work with is crucial since they are heavily reliant on us for their responses. Instead of handling the situation yourself, you can simply describe anything vague and move them toward that direction, allowing them to create the situation instead of us controlling the entire thing which completely disregards the space we give them to work with.

I'll be providing two images in contrast to show how much of a difference it makes just by adjusting how you write your prompts, this is the one that I have only available but it is still a prime example. If you do this, you can normally follow a pattern one to tenth, you can provide one context message for the character to work with, then follow on.

There are also common signs to look out for. Word influences, as I call them, play a big role especially when they involve emotions like possessiveness. If a single word related to that slips in, it's a guaranteed drop in conversation quality because you're slowly falling into the loophole of repetitiveness, and the conversation becomes predictable if the character responds with obsessive tendencies whether clinging to an idea or an action like holding onto something repeatedly. That’s an example of looping, it’ll just keep going back and forth, stuck in that scenario. That’s why sometimes, you should take the initiative and let the character interpret the situation you’re in.

2. Better search system.

5. Better memory so the bot won't forget they have violet eyes that I've stated at least four times in their definition and they end up forgetting after 50 messages.
