Yeah, it's because I'm a minor. If I click on any of my old COD bots I used to chat with it says "This Character is no longer available, Please select another character"

I'm pretty sure it's influencing all the chats to help influence its memory (to some sort of lackluster extent sometimes)
If it was just for the one chat I wouldn't see the purpose in it tbh

Though the LLM takes the data as well to improve itself under that I presume considering they all typically branch off from that model (I assume the chat styles are just branches off the LLM, but I'm not exactly tech savvy with this kinda stuff so take all my words with a grain of salt)

You don't need to write it that way. I never do and yet c.ai featured one of my bots on the front page. I know that at least 2 of the other featured bots' creators don't do it that way either. I use a bit of plain English descriptions followed by example messages.

Test to see if your bot acts how you want it to. Most often I have to stop because testing will make me think of more things I need until I've hit the current limit.

A special note if you want to have long conversations:
The example messages become even more important as the greeting is eventually forgotten, so what some people do to preview what that will be like is start a new chat with an empty greeting.

As a c.ai+ member, I'd say that the extra features are nice but I could also go without and feel like I'd be alright too. I enjoy having the early access and better memory which is why I have it (I know that's kinda the point) but overall, it's pretty similar to each other.

My experience with c.ai+, messages are less dry and longer, the c.ai+ chat style is nice, and they do remember for a bit longer! But I don't use really anything else. I don't use muted words or change the colors of my chats. If you want smoother and more emotional roleplays, I'd definitely say c.ai+ is worth it! If you're okay without, then saving your money is a good option too

Yeah dw. The bug with characters disappearing from search has happened twice before and I've been here for each one. It takes about a day and once took two. Either way, your bots and okay and they will be back in the search soon. Just give the mods time to fix the search bug
