I don't think the pinned message is permanent tokens. Its more like a CEG feature. So you need to guide the bot subtlely in your response, which pinned message you want it to remember.

And I did that in a long time, even before pinned message existed. So I never have problem with memory.

It's not exactly a permanent token in the way traditional token-based models work. CEG doesn't store info permanently like a database but embeds key context dynamically. If your character details stay remembered after 100+ messages, it's likely because the AI recognizes them as important and keeps embedding them in context. However, if the conversation shifts focus, the AI may deprioritize that info over time. That's why subtly reinforcing pinned details in responses helps guide the AI to keep them relevant.

If you, I'm using the mobile app so idk about the website, open the app then hit the three dots in the upper right hand corner right next to your profile picture it'll drop a menu. There's a support option & it'll take you to the support website which lets you submit a ticket for customer support. I actually just submitted one because I only received one free month from the four referral links I sent that got accepted.

Some creators put things in their bots names/descriptions (idk how they're called like, sorry!) Symbols/emojis/words so and it looks something like that:
"|emoji/symbol/word| bot's name/plot"
And the emojis/symbols/words are the same for each bot they create

I sometimes search up bots by a deleted creator who did that, by the emoji/symbol/word they used.

i’ve noticed that since around yesterday- i’ve used cai since early 2023 and this seems to be a very early issues, lots of updates were given recently and usually it gets better. still annoying though 🫠

it definitely will because cai quality has a tendency to fluctuate but this is the only time i’ve really like actually been bothered by something- also the new layout looks like chai and that just makes it so much worseeeeee 😞

I really hope that the developers add my suggestion 😅. I'm thinking that it shouldn't be a hard thing to add & I know that other erm options(idk what words are safe to use when referring to other sites/apps) have the ability to continue the current conversation & change the bot/AI style so I don't think that it'd be difficult for c.ai to do imo

The suggestion would still allow users to switch between, let's say roar & I think the other is meow. Like if, just for an example, you were tired of using roar but didn't want to lose all your current conversation progress then with my suggestion you'd be able to switch over to the meow style & continue where you left off & vice versa. So it'd still be useful

Because with the current system if you were to switch the style from roar to meow then you're forced to start a brand new conversation. Which, in my opinion, isn't a good thing. Because the ability to swap styles but continue your current conversation would be a good addition.

yes but the issue is i was swiping and my chat needed to refresh out of nowhere and when i swiped again it said 'get c.ai+ for unlimited swipes!!'

Well I had to refresh the page, on the desktop website, because I went to swipe & was asked why I was swiping 😅. No clue how often that is but it's the first time, as a strictly mobile user, that I've encountered that.
