Haven't really tried pinning lengthy messages recently because like what you said, it makes them go wonky. They increased the limit to 30 pin messages now tho, so I need to test it out.

But before the very recent update, what I usually do is I just copy the lengthy infos that I want the bot to remember onto a notepad or Notion, and only leave the messages that's relevant to the current situation/ scene pinned while the rest are unpinned and saved on notepad/Notion. And when you want them to recall those messages again, you can just copy/paste it from notepad/Notion and put it in as OOC, like:
((OOC: Here is the summary of what happened so far (insert the info)))

or something like that, and then pin it again.
So in other words, if your messages is super lengthy, just pin the ones relevant to the ongoing event, and leave the irrelevant ones unpinned & saved on the notepad for future use.

You can try that only if you're using laptop tho, unless you don't mind the hassle of doing the same thing on your phone.

I want to suggest ping-ing the mods and ask them to help/ pushing your tickets, but not sure if it's ok to do that.
It's pretty rare for your tickets to get answered usually, since they probably have tons of tickets coming everyday, so it's easy to miss.

are you a c.ai+ btw? If you are, maybe you can connect your + account with your discord once you're home. There are other channels exclusive to + users, and the mods often check the posts there, so if you're + users, maybe you can try posting your problem on that channel instead.

Yeah, the bot’s keep stalling outside of dialogue, to the point the message gets cut off. Depending on the bot, the messages are either very short and boring or way too long and puts in no dialogue. I feel like the bots became even dumber atp.

I mean, c.ai is pretty convenient and enjoyable to use, despite its many issues. Even so, its roleplaying capabilities are what truly win me over. It’s great for roleplay, with almost no restrictions on how you and the bots can interact—unlike most entertainment AIs out there.

And it's a simple to use (sorry for being biased).

Click on the bots profile youre talking to, you should see persona as one of the options underneath so you just click it and switch or add. Just remember that your default persona will be the one always used in every chat if you’re planning to change it each time

Hm... Maybe we could compromise. While dynamic greetings are a good idea, I see that a lot of people don't like them being AI generated. Instead, how about we have the creators write up a list of various greetings for the AI to select from randomly at the start of each conversation? Here's a little workaround for that issue where the character responses just keep cutting off. I'll assume that every response tends to get cut off, and it doesn't stop happening whenever you receive a long response from the character you're interacting with, just to confirm, is that the issue you're experiencing?

As for this issue that everyone is currently having when trying to interact with the character, it is because it's shadowbanned, and that is causing this particular message, "Sorry, this Character is not available to chat." to appear when you attempt to interact with it. This is not an error or any issue on the site, as anyone is speculating right now. Let's try not to mislead anyone else any further, nor does this have any relevance to the website deleting any characters. That is something that they would never do without further violations of the policy itself.

What exactly is a shadowban that I mention now? This prevents the character from being able to be interacted with, all that aside, except for the author themselves, and there are various indicators, like the character not showing in the author’s profile when you try to view them.

The most likely cause of it being shadowbanned is because the author had written a word in either the definition, description, greetings, or anywhere else, and the editing guidelines were updated once more. Unfortunately, the character had listed a word that is now flagged, which has caused it to not be interactable by anyone except for the author themselves, who must handle and fix the issue. The only hope is that the author knows about it, or if they make changes to revert the flagged content, which I see as very unlikely to happen.

1. You can't say things like "Why am I still alive" because that's 1 of many depression triggers
