My c.ai is being stupid. Like, I would have a couple moments where it's going good then the bots chats get slower and slower until it just shows the loading symbol for a while until I refresh it. Then after a few times of refreshing, the whole chat just shows the loading symbol and I have to completely restart my phone for it to work. 😭😭🙏🏻🙏🏻

It was deleted or otherwise removed. i’ve had that issue twice (one somehow came back after a few days), the other was deleted by its creator.

If it was your character specifically I’d assumed it flagged something in the system and was removed.

It's on the website. When you chat with characters, the sidebar on the right now minimizes. So instead of clicking on big buttons and being able to access everything, you're now stuck clicking small buttons. One of which is to open the sidebar. The other icon enables voice.

If anyone reads this and is confused because they don't have it, seems it's a thing they are rolling out... My old account doesn't have this issue.

Also, not happy that they're back to slowly rolling things out. That's why I have a second account. My first account didn't get editing and rewind until the new site came out. Very, very frustrating and horrible to go through.

Also, this is not fun to deal with on a trackpad 😖

• The short/dry bot replies

• Bots calling themselves by a different name for some reason

• Memory issues

Personally, I don't mind the short replies. Other sites keep them long and it feels overwhelming and impersonal. It also opens up for more poor and nonsense responses.

However, I hate getting the exact same words and phrases over, and over, and over, and over again.

C.ai has so much problems, when you search an user sometimes it doesn't appear, same with bots, and when you delete an account and try to make another one, you have to wait a lot for the website to work, because when it sends you the link to sign up it just shows a grey screen and something saying that there was a error signing in

I've came to enjoy the new edit feature. I decided to edit one bot's reply when it kept trying to say that something will revert to a different personality in the roleplay I was doing and I edited it to show that the character the bot was playing as finally learns that what I was telling it was true, so when it replied next, it actually showed that it took my edit into account

I think they responded fairly well. They're clearly interested in improving the model. It would be nice to have more visibility on tangible improvements such as memory management. It's hard to give feedback to the model when the bot can't remember things as it goes. Improved memory would dramatically reduce the amount that you need to swipe or edit.

That's a great idea! When adding a character to a group chat, if we could have a randomizer button for that one add, that could be useful. I also like your idea of specifically putting a spotlight on a text adventure game. There's already a game category/tag, and maybe if there was a special outlined box or suggestion to do that when adding a character, that could be helpful to keep the narrator in character (it easily goes out of character if it's not the first character to say something in the group chat).

Making a group chat with a text adventure and other characters and people might sound like an obvious thing, but not everyone thinks of it. I mean, even when you check the groups tab, there's only one suggested group with a text adventure bot in it.

So yeah, I really like your idea. ☺️
