Did this one recently so I thought I'd share it. I'm doing a mini project where I make 7 genshin characters with different elements and regions this one is Liyue (Dendro). I've done Sumeru (Geo) and Snezhnaya (Pyro) also but I want to refine them before showing them off.

The reason why I'm doing this mini project is not for the design purpose but for the story purpose. I want to learn how to make characters with a good history/foundation so I can apply those skills to my own characters for a comic I want to develop and possibly a game in the future provided I have the skills. So last night I REALLY wanted to draw one of my OCs (said OC being Amira), but I also wanted to redesign her at the same time, so I stayed up all night doing just that. And now I just finished the artwork that I wanted to draw. Overall, I am satisfied with this piece. And I made 2 versions of it because I couldn’t decide on one, which are the first 2 artworks.

Now, as for the 3rd artwork, I used a base by CAN9NE on DeviantArt to figure out what Amira would look like in my redesign. I wanted to turn her into a dog, so I made her a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. Considering reworking her character, perhaps even changing her name. What do you think? Do you want me to share her original biography?

It can help with keeping your hand steady AND you can remember what you’re tracing so you can apply the techniques later on in your other works!

okay so I tried to help out a little bit- sorry if it's shitty lol but I'd mostly suggest adding more volume to the hair, and making the bits towards the neck a bit shorter or more even. also connecting the 2 strands in front would help. or you can do something like in the third or fourth image, using references do help. I tried to keep it closer to what you had.. hope this helps just a little, sorry if it doesn't 😅 anyone else can correct me lol, and you can use this in any way you want to
