Training doesn't affect individual bots, so uh, it's basically just luck whether or not you get wacky and wild responses.

Which means it can happen to yours too, just hasn't happened yet.

i definitely feel like it does to a large extent, especially as far as example dialogues go. it does depend on the kind of content being put into cai, obviously that's a big factor and why we get things that every user experiences, ie 'can i ask you a question' and 'pang' and 'goddamnit' every other sentence. but i've definitely noticed that i experience it considerably less when i use my own bots or bots with a much smaller amount of interactions. so either individual training does help a good amount with bots, or! i should go play the lottery, cause i happen to be very lucky.

which is... what i said, essentially? cause if a lack of a description would equate to a worse bot, then yes, it does matter. maybe your coding just needs more to it. i rarely struggle with things like formatting or reply length. i do get some of the cliché phrases of course and my bots do sometimes still fall into loops but that's true of any ai. detailed descriptions, example dialogues and a good initial message influences it a lot, based not only on the difference between my priv bots vs popular ones, but also based on the priv bots i put effort into and the ones that i didn't rly do anything with.

Shoutout to everyone. If your characters aren't behaving the way they should after the recent update go to edit and find this feature. If you turn it on the character will be fixed immediately so all you have to do is rewind to the introduction and start again. It will go back to normal. I tried it on one of my characters that were behaving wrong and it fixed it. Share this with other people so they can learn this too.

@tight sonnet it's one of the recent bugs. Cai added a new feature that's automatically turned off for allowing the characters since the update. When that feature is turned off the ai responds whoever it wants without following any rules except it's programming. It keeps the memory of the info you put in the bottom but that's all. It's behaviour isn't based on anything so it makes stuff up. If you go to edit the character there is a feature that says allow dynamic greetings. If you turn it on the character will start behaving exactly how they should be based on the info put in the bottom and won't make up stuff or get out of line. I had similar problems before I discovered the feature

Next thing I know, I'm knee-deep in routes.js, drowning in .jsx, and sacrificing eyesight to the gods of broken code on screen. Two failed deployments, one mental breakdown, and 58 console errors later then- BAM.

Noo it’s okay don’t worry. When you’re using the stars make sure it’s connected to the first letter of the sentence and the last. For the italic font you have to use three stars at the beginning and end !! I know for the app on my phone it allows me to do it along with the website. I hope this helps🫶🏼🫶🏼

So I wanna tell about my problem with Roar style. When I using it. Character usually responding with long and unfinished text. Like this photo I screenshotted. I wanna say. This never happened to me like unfinished or long text since yesterday or 2 day ago. The character also giving me an options for next story dialogue at the end. Simply my responses are like Chat GPT. Also Characters responses “[]” and between them characters write for an example “Epilogue, Scene, Final Scene, The End, Fin, etc.” I hope they’ll fix it

Well if you’re looking for a bot to be intelligent, then the best pick for u is Roar or if you’re impatient then choose meow! Or you can go with the beta one’s who are still not improved enough but works nice!

And the purpose of the chat style is for choosing the best experience for u! My personal fave is roar! But there are plenty more. There is a chat style but it’s only for c.ai+ users. But trust me, some of the chat styles are just like hidden pearls!

Are your guys' bots glitching too? My bots won't respond. I tried to clear my app's cache and I tried the website, but neither seems to work.
