I have maybe 9h average a day on c.ai, rn my weekly screen time is 21h on it but I’m also done with final exams/essays and have more free time now which explains why 🤷‍♀️ plus when I get bored I go do something else like draw, read, game or scroll on social media. Most of my c.ai screentime is either in rp using spotify or used with bots I hyperfixate for while rewatching shows. Based on screen time alone with no other context I’d say it’s a lot but if someone were to ask if I’m addicted I’d say no. Would I be upset if it got taken away permanently? Yeah, I put a lot of effort into my bots and it makes me happy seeing so many people enjoy them, plus it’s another way for me to feel comfort from my comfort characters <3 but at the same time, I’m not going to be throwing tantrums every time it goes down for maintenance 😭 I’ll just do something else for a bit or if I’m that desperate I’ll go on the J site instead as I wait

In short: yeah I’d be really upset without it since it’s a source of comfort/escapism/relaxation for me, but I was fine before c.ai existed so I’ll be fine in its absence and therefore don’t think I’m personally addicted to it? In my case, the bot responds with a rather long vocabulary and does not follow the roleplay, and it also usually includes the name of the bot, For example: "Mha Roleplay:". And then it write the actions of the "characters" and it is a bit annoying and stressful to repeat it several times.
