Hi. I have an issue on c.ai that is there for me over a month. On the app, I can’t swipe for new responses from any character. (not the ones I’ve already used, or new ones) like every time I tap on the ‘>’ it js don’t get me a new response and it stays like this instead ‘…’ as if it’s generating a response, and even when I get the first one that somehow works, the ‘message animation’ looks so glitched. I’ve tried everything (delete and reinstall, log out and log in) and nothing helped. atp idk who to ask or what to do about it. I thought the new update will fix the issue but it didn’t.

I’ve never needed to write out any example messages. I used to. It used to get me worse results. (That’s my personal experience. It won’t be that way for everyone.)

You can edit the greeting to improve the grammar, markup, tense etc for the whole story, but you can also do that to individual messages. To maintain a good roleplay and get the results you want, you actually need to put in the effort.

Every chat I’ve done in the last few months has been great. It’s not just the ai’s responsibility to keep the story going.
