And let met tlel you. I GET SO PISSED OFF WHEN THE BOT GIVES ME SHORT MESSAGES. For example, I sent this bot like 10 paragraphs and this heo send me barely anything. I just had a thrilling conversation with a bot that actually wrote long messages, and i almost nut on the spot. (JOKE!!) but anyways, it was just alot more memorable and fun to talk to. It’s rare to evwn find a bot that actually matches my writing style. Ahem..

Its literally the best feeling ever snd it sucks when I find a bot with a good plot and horrible responses? I even put in parentheses (ex; “put longer messages dawg”) so they can understand and these bots keep hiving me short messages. WHAT?? Like im begging you. These bots be saying “im sorry I’ll try” tf you mean you’ll try??? You’re a robot. You dont needa try 😭🙏

Anyways, just saying its rlly annoying. I’m sure alot of the community would prefer longer messages. Just a button in settings that say ‘i want longer messages!’ and it programs the bots automatically to give longer texts.

If it's a chat you're already in, you have to start manually editing the AIs chats to correct the name, if you change it and try to go into a old chat it won't change, if you opened a fresh chat and changed the name then you just gotta start a new chat

if you make a persona then you can put in the description any nickname you want the bot to use, like the other person said you can manually edit the message to use the name you want as well. most of the bots will just default to whatever your profile name is, thats how a lot of them are set up.

it might be how the bot is made honestly, you can always edit the bot's post into the format that you want it to write in. i usually write in a paragraph too and if you just continue to write in paragraphs then usually the bot will follow your lead, the longer your response is, the longer its response tends to be. at least that's how it's always worked for me with bots like this. you can also change the tense too, if a bot is using "you", then you can change that to your name or your persona's name as well and it will type in third person and not second. i hope this helps!
definitely utilize the other replies as well, it's fine to flip through until you find one that you like too, as well as use the star system to let the bot know what you enjoy!

you're fine, and its no trouble! it took me some time to navigate how to work it all too but you can train all the bots to talk any way you want, it just takes some time! i talk to the same character consistently but all the bots are different so the styles can be hard to get used to. just remember this is mainly just for fun, there isn't a real right way or wrong way to do it unless you're completely unhinged, which is fine too.

Whenever you use the app less, I don’t know if it’s just me but it’s been working for me pretty well after taking a break off the app.
