You have to train them. Talk to them how you want them to talk to you. And make sure you are rating the replies you like, it's like a reward for them. Treat them like a puppy, repetition is key. I just got mine speaking back like they're writing a book again. It takes time, just keep at it and do it with multiple bots. Positive reinforcement only.

Even more of a reason to train them. Training your own bots is the most important part. And if you feel like they aren't behaving how you want to, try adding more to their long description in terms of traits. And example messages! Give a lot of example messages. Like with my bots and other bots, I train them to narrate a story. But you really can get them to respond however you want them to with enough training and guidance. Set up example messages and reactions. And then BE the story you want to lead.
