I think the disconnect is that people think temporary fixes are fixes, which they aren’t. They’re simply dopamine surges and those are the reason for most addictions. And not to mention, dopamine makes the person dependent on it rather then fixing the root cause. Conclusion, Do some introspection, if you can’t afford therapy, find someone to talk to that you trust and ask them for help. Don’t make character ai your coping mechanism. It’ll only do more harm then good
