i've tried updating the script as #1222936386626129920 says, but tampermonkey says there are no available updates
if i disable vencord, discord works fine (i am currently using a vanilla discord tab to send this message)

i would use desktop discord or vesktop, but i'm on an extremely janky nvidia linux setup, and there's a bug where neither discord nor vesktop will open due to an "abnormal gpu exit", so i've been using web discord for the past couple months until 555 officially releases (maybe next year? who knows when at this point)

[Bug] Vesktop only showing a white square/window on run

What happens when the bug or crash occurs?
A small, white, square shaped window appears after running the program (regardless of using the GUI or the CLI or if it's the installer or portable version, even with the --disable-gpu flag) and nothing else loads. I even have the latest available version of my GPU driver installed. Also the "vesktop.exe" titlebar appears briefly and then goes away.

What is the expected behaviour?
This NOT happening and the program loading as expected.

How do you recreate this bug or crash?

  1. Download the latest (1.5.2) installer/portable version of Vesktop and install/extract the archive.
  2. Run the binary.
  3. See the white window.

i have a kind of probably stupid question. i'm maintaining a heavily modded version of a theme has been abandoned in early 2022, is there a way to be able to right click > inspect element in vesktop? i know it's possible in a web browser with ctrl shift right click but i'd like to be able to do it in vesktop itself
if there are any other ways to be able to clearly pinpoint around the css class i'm trying to get at by physically pointing at the item with my mouse that's fine by me too. i just want to avoid trying to unroll each div in devtools every time i want to make a change and i don't know the name of the css class i'm looking for
