The bot API doesn't officially support it so I wouldn't recommend doing it

Of course you can send mp3, but the way it looks on the phones bro... There are no music player, you have to download to play it. It will

disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
remove all themes

run the installer
download itunes
run the installer
download the ipa
open sideloady
upload the ipa you downloaded
plug your phone in to laptop
follow instructions by signing in with apple ID and password
click start
- wait until it says “done”
on ipad
-go to settings and enable developer mode
- restart ipad
go to settings
click general
go to vpn
- trust the signed application

Will I get banned for using Vencord? Will plugin X get me banned?

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Why does my Discord always crash when opening DevTools?

This is a stock Discord issue. There is nothing we can do

However, here are some solutions that should work:

Many people have stated that opening devtools while Discord is still loading prevents the crashing
Devtools work fine in Vencord's custom client, Vesktop, or just your web browser - you can use the Vencord browser extension
It seems to be an issue exclusive to Windows. You could try switching to Linux

where are the vencord's files ? I looked ~/.var/app/com.discordapp.Discord and ~/.config but it's only configs files or preload, better ds patch, etc. searched for typescripts files but I can only found anaconda3's files 😕 I feel stupid bc I was sure they where located somewhere in the home folder (btw I use zorin os (an ubuntu variant)).

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

This message is misleading. Run sudo chown -R "${USER}:wheel" /Applications/Discord.app in your terminal, then run the installer again afterwards.

You may also need to grant Terminal.app (and friends) full disk access for the operation to work properly.

so i can't get vesktop to work anymore, worked a few days ago and now i just get a black screen, tried redownloading the appimage and deleting the config folder and it hasn't changed anything

How to replicate:
1st: (in vc) Enable screenshare only happens after sm1 joins ur screenshare (only goes away when srop screensharing)

I use Vencord on my browser and there is this weird thing happening where if I turn on Vencord something hijacks my ctrl + t key on Discord and it instead opens the Quick Switcher of Discord, for which Discord has already assigned ctrl + k. I don't understand what could be causing it.

This message is misleading. Run sudo chown -R "${USER}:wheel" /Applications/Discord.app in your terminal, then run the installer again afterwards.

You may also need to grant Terminal.app (and friends) full disk access for the operation to work properly.

The iOS version has been ‘defect’ for a while. After waking up Discord from sleep so to speak one is stuck ‘connecting’. Only by manually closing the app from the app switcher and reopening it again it properly connects. Basically, to use it u have to always close it after, which makes it quite unusable. Any ideas? 😅

Why do I get logged out after opening DevTools?

Discord tries to protect you from getting scammed by "hiding" your token when you open DevTools, which means it deletes it from storage and only keeps it in memory in order to make it harder to obtain.

If you now close discord before closing DevTools again, your token will not be saved anywhere anymore and as a consequence you will be logged out

Solution: Close DevTools before closing discord or better yet enable the NoDevtoolsWarning plugin which removes this "feature"

The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

If you're all up to date, try reinstalling with the installer anyway!

And if it now still doesn't work, please let us know in our support server

A recent Discord update broke the majority of themes. If your theme is not working, either wait for the developer to fix it, or try a different theme!

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
remove all themes
