I adapted the faceplate to be suitable for the Goggles X. Simply print from any rigid material and apply it to the Goggles with double sided tape.

What kind of improvements did experience after installing the faceplate?

Main improvements were:

  • less pressure near nose
  • bit more uptilt of the goggles
  • goggles closer to eyes --> bigger FOV and clearer picture near the edges

I used none. Fitted the print to my face by heating it with a hairdryer and then adapting it to my shape. Currently working on an update using a 3d scan of my face
