Mounts the analog module on the side through a hook that can be easily attached meaning the goggles can be packed away quickly and easily. Zero mods required to the goggles, super easy to remove and reattach (speed of deployment was one of my main goals)
The cover is for the Eachine Pro58, but since the base is the same as the HDZero analog module bay, you can use the module covers designed for that, as there will be a bunch of those available

Now i need to make a little volume slider for the video brightness and i'll be happy 🙂

cool - yet no analog DVR, right? If u crash and want to review your last video images, u can't 🤷🏻

#

adding a DVR will make it even more clumsy..

#

maybe it's worthwhile waiting for the Caddx integrated version.. 🤔

You can see the button for the dvr at the top behind the antennas and the slot for the MicroSD. It's no less clumsy than the analog expansion on the hdzero goggles. And this way you can use rapidfire or any good module rather than being stuck with whatever Caddx tries to slap together.

#

Theoretically you could use an Eachine prodvr or one of those dvr modules that has playback functionality, but they only record at 30fps whereas the dvr module I have in here does 60fps H265 and much higher bitrate

#

Can be up and ready to fly before the goggles have booted up

Nice job, really! ❤️ I'll hold the horses for a bit still, since many today's phones do not have SD cards anymore, and if I lose a drone inflight, I'm still better off using my HDO2. Looking at getting rid of it at some point soon, but hopefully there'll be an integrated solution with DVR record/playback soon 👍🏻
