#WALKSNAIL VTX PROTECTION MOUNT
1 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
for what do you need it
need for adapter to the frame, because only 20x20 available
Let me see what I can do
@bitter sluice just check out the link above i have uploaded a 2020 mounting variant. just tell me if this fits your needs
you will need 4x m2 screws and nuts to lock the mount as well 4x screws n nuts for the vtx itself
Great!! Thanks
I use this one now for all of my quads. Love it!!
appreciate you like it! if you have any ideas to improve it let me know ๐
Just fiddled that thing into my FR7 ... the TPU was no friend of getting the screws pinched through ... YET ... it holds the VTX now. So ... at this point: Thanks for sharing!
I had no issues getting screws through tbh. It's meant to screw them through not just pushing by hand. Depends on printer calibration too
The way you communicated makes me think you're super annoyed. Not sure what you what you want me to do
Sorry ... I'm not ๐ ... first off I'm happy ๐ ... Intention was to say : "thanks man I used it! and (my) TPU (print) was a bit unwilling to comply ๐ Not your fault at all- just a lesser quality print.
Glad you used it
I found it to be a nice idea for placing it - so I went for it ๐
Not sure if you have seen the recent update. I've added a 1.5mm bottom and a simple 20x20 30x30 mountain adapter
@serene orchid can you please update the stl file for the new vtx sir?
What would have to be different?
The monting pattern is 25x25.. have something underneath for 20x20.
Both preferred
With my AOS 5 it doesn't matter. Beaver only likes 20x20.
I'll look into it the next view days.
As i understand I'd just have to add 20x20 holes since the only way to lock it is with 25x25 holes
@serene orchid Yes Sir exactly ๐ฏ
You have to add material in the 20x20 underneath section and 25x25 so it will mount even.
Alright looking into it tomorrow need to sleep now hope i can design something useful
