Yes but I believe he did it himself. I haven't done a map like this, I've done it with rounded corners and there is no default black background

I'm not entirely happy with how it looks, and I don't know how to fix it properly. I'd prefer it to be a mask, but I don't know how to implement it so it fits perfectly.

in that case I get it.
I personally would've edited the mask and done it that way.

I did it with a photoshop plugin that made it possible for me to edit the necessary file and then did something with open iv I don't entirely remember
but there should be guides on youtube
