Selected gate menu priority

Make it so once you have selected the gate, it will always appear at the top of the menu. Currently it remains buried in the list. Also allow the the user to set the 'show me' blue identifier symbol longer than 30 seconds, more like up to 3 minutes. Here is the scenario I often have: Gate is B39, on landing and exit the runway, sitting on the taxi way, bring up the menu, select the B gates, go through 4 pages of B gates to get to 39, select and then show me, it is on the other side of the large airport, head that direction then have to stop the taxi and repeat this process several times before I even get close to the concourse the gate is on. Best would be to have that selected gate appear at the top of the menu for immediate, longer term, show me. "Why dont you use a real world terminal map to generally show you where the gate is?" - no, because the in sim gates are very often not even close (generaly even totally incorrect terminal buildings), so one has to use the 'show me' feature to get GSX to work well.

Im sure you can set the show me length in the settings.

yes, but it is limited to max 30 seconds, as I indicated in my post.

Real world charts often do not align with the MSFS gate date for default airports (and somewhat often for even custom ones) as I indicated in my post.

They do allign quite well even with default, the main issue with default scenery is that the signs are way off or non existant

There’s an option to display the show me till arrive at gate. It has been working fine for me. It’s the last option I think.

I just had a look at this. The gate most definitely is not buried in the list once you select the service it is the only gate available until you rewoke services and choose another gate. I assume you are just pressing "show me this spot" all the time instead of selecting the parking and then opening the menu again to let GSX show you the spot

Thanks Simon, what you say is sometimes true at least in my case. For me, after landing and siting on the taxiway, I am able to select the gate, however, sometimes I do not get to chose or select the 'service' (ie. United or Delta) as the list does not present itself for selection. It is as this point that it seems I always have to go through the list. However, if I do get to choose the service, then yes, it does filter the gate to the top. I am starting to suspect this may be a scenery issue and not GSX. Thank you for your response.

Thanks, I will have to look closely for this 'option'. I dont recall seeing this in the dialog box listing when displaying 'show me this gate' selection. Are you saying this is somewhere in the settings, I will take another look.

I think I got this all sorted as this suggestion appears to be implemented and working. I believe the issue was at two of my payware airports. They have been reinstalled (per their update) and all is working now. The 'show me' abiltiy to the gate I found via moving the slider all the way to the right. I was previously looking for a toggle (button). Moderator feel free to remove my suggestion. Thanks all.
